OMG, IT'S FRIDAY!

I made it! I made it to the end of the work week without committing “hary cary” or however it is you spell it. Now, that’s something to celebrate! Wooohooo!

S came over after work last night, and the three of us enjoyed a glass of wine (err, I enjoyed M’s glass too, because he said it tasted ‘off’ — Um, okay… Tasted fine to me!) and then walked down to Carderos where we enjoyed a delish meal and a fun talk. Both of us are upbeat about what the future holds, and I can quite honestly say that it’s refreshing to talk about our work-based goals and be on exactly the same page… Not to mention headspace.

Afterwards, we played a couple of games of XBox before S made her way home. It was a good night…

And then, I promptly went to bed. Where, for the first time in weeks, I actually was asleep before midnight, and slept through the night!

Happy Friday everyone!! What’s everyone up to, this lovely long weekend?

Meatfest! Then Vancouver Dungeon, complete with flagging. (We’re patriotically perverted!) Then passing out and ignoring the fact that my livingroom is a sea of boxes. :)

It’s “Independence Day” – long weekend here. Everyone seems to be starting today, but the 4th of July isn’t until Tuesday! Things could get interesting, with the Drunks and all…

    Wahoo! Weekend!

Saturday we’ve got our (as they’ve titled it) Big Gay Wedding, Saturday evening hopefully heading over to your place time permitting, Sunday just one client I think and then work work work and more work the rest of Sunday and Monday. But! It’s a good thing – I’m looking forward to catching up! Being out of town for a wedding last week/weekend meant we got way behind and I HATE this feeling.

Well I’m stranded in the middle of England right now, in a hotel. Tomorrow I head home for the rest of the weekend, which is fairly rammed. And there will be the small matter of England’s soccer match against Portugal, for which the whole country will stop at around 4pm tomorrow.

I also completely agree with your post about the power of postive thought. Completely right, although we all need some points of grounding and a basic belief that whatever we are doing or planning to do is fundamentally right for us as individuals.

Bob Dylan said ‘dont look back’ and I say there is fun going forward.
