‘Friday Silliness, part 842′ and ‘People sometimes piss me off’

Friday Silliness has hit a new all-time low! Click and see what I mean! (Thanks Al — You always come through!)
Well, I had hoped to have my phone set-up, and photos from the day-in-the-life blog entry taken by today, but alas, I’ve had another crazy week at work. Thankfully, things seem to [...]

So much for Fireworks viewing at our palace in the sky!

This is our view from our balcony in the sky. How dissapointing!
We declared a Gihad on the Palasades building that was completely blocking our view.
(Okay, I apologize: Very bad joke considering the terror climate right now) How completely sad that view was: All we saw were the tallest fireworks during the Symphony [...]

Working longer hours for a while:

I’m going to take the next few days off from blogging anything meaningful… And come back to you on Thursday evening with a post on a day-in-the-life in photos from my brand new Nokia 6682 phone, which as some of you know, I received in a word-of-mouth campaign from Matchstick last week.
Sorry about the upcoming [...]

Awesome weekend!

Wow, we needed that!
We had a fantastic weekend… Worked some, partied some, walked some, read some, relaxed some. Perfect! The condo was sweltering, but we managed to survive it — Thankfully the wind kicked up enough yesterday to cool us down to a reasonable level.
Last night’s walk to Lost Lagoon was beautiful. [...]

Cha cha cha changes…

Phew, freaky week. A ton has happened at work, but since I don’t detail my corporate life here, I’ll only say that I’m very much looking forward to some positive momentum over the upcoming weeks, which is much needed.
On a personal note… This weekend couldn’t have come any sooner. I so need some [...]

Belated adventure photos!

Can you believe it? We (and by “we” I really mean “Michael”) finally found time to get to London Drugs to get the disposable waterproof camera photos from our White Water Rafting trip with Wedge Rafting Tours developed. That only took us a freekin’ month.
We had a ton of fun on the adventure, [...]

Good times, and a trip to look forward to!

Well, that was an awesome weekend! We got to almost all the adventures we wanted to, except for the long walk because we both had a nap instead on Saturday afternoon — We can walk another day! We had a most excellent time with D and Vern in a *beautiful* chalet near Whistler [...]

If I never see another self-stick stamp, I’ll be a happy girl

We’re neck-deep in marketing materials here at work — It’s kept us insanely busy this week. I’m certainly looking forward to the weekend!!
Tonight, we’re heading off with D and Vern to have “Good times” up in Whistler, a last-minute and much needed getaway! Tomorrow, hopefully M and I will catch up with Iris [...]

Tell me it isn’t Wednesday, already!

Geez, this week is just flying by!
I had a super-great time last night out at D’s BBQ — We played badminton, ate, drank, jumped on a trampoline, and generally acted like 8 year olds. Except for the booze, of course.
Here’s a quote overheard last night: “I really like twisting the shaft in my [...]

I had the weirdest dream last night…

…I dreamt that I was approached by my birth parents. I was out in a park somewhere in their hometown, (I know approximately where they live, and that they are still married) and my birth mother walked up to me. What made this dream even stranger, is that I dreamt it all in [...]

TGIF!

I’m at home today, trying to stay out of all contact with the outside world so that I can be extremely effective in conceiving some marketing and advertising concepts and goals for a hosted telephony medical solution that we’ve *just* rolled out. I’m really excited about this product, and am therefore thoroughly enjoying this [...]

Something fun to look forward to!

I’m off for a nice dinner with my guy tonight, and then to see Cirque de Soleil’s Varekai! I’m really looking forward to this evening out.
Has anyone else seen this show yet? What did you think?

The Daily Show does Butte

Last night, while watching The Daily Show, I was struck by how funny the “Butte, MT” segment was. For those of you who didn’t see it, correspondent Jason Jones highlighted the tourism that Butte offered. Which, by the way, is a total sum of the Berkley Pit — Which is this vast mess [...]

Pssst! Wanna free cell phone?

Blogging has a ton of advantages… It’s enriched my life in so many ways, and has even lit the path to finding my true Sweetheart (for those of you who don’t know, Michael and I met through blogging). Today, I can happily report one more cool advantage to sharing my world online with all [...]

And the lack of physical activity shall now cease!

…T’was an excellent long weekend filled with socializing, lots of lounging about, and celebrating Vern’s birthday (Happy BIRTHDAY, Vern!!). As has been the case over the past several weeks, I was still in recovery mode (I can’t believe how long it’s taken me to get over this illness) but I can happily say that [...]

A post for ya, but don’t forget to DE-LURK below!

But, since I’m kinda tipsy, I thought I’d share one of my all-time favourite animation shorts… Enjoy, kids! (Are you having a great long weekend? I sure am! The BBQ was awesome — I have the best friends EVAR!)

“The Big Snit” — Well done, Richard Condie!!
Cheers all! (I’m grabbing myself another [...]
