If I never see another self-stick stamp, I'll be a happy girl

We’re neck-deep in marketing materials here at work — It’s kept us insanely busy this week. I’m certainly looking forward to the weekend!!

Tonight, we’re heading off with D and Vern to have “Good times” up in Whistler, a last-minute and much needed getaway! Tomorrow, hopefully M and I will catch up with Iris and Rudy for a movie — That’d be fun! And, Sunday, bring on the Scrabble with Deanna, and a nice long walk on the seawall as long as the weather holds — M and I have some photos to take (old-school-like!) for our photo class… Which was one of his birthday presents to me. I haven’t had film developed in years!

Have a great weekend, everyone! What’s everyone else looking forward to, this weekend?

Woo hoo! Have a great weekend and take lots of photos! It was fun hanging out with you last week.

I’ve got a full weekend schedule; girly but necessary stuff (like a badly needed haircut and clothes shopping), a planning meeting for the next Lissen show in August, car photography out at Minter Gardens, time with the in-laws and Lunchtruck….

    Can hardly wait!

make sure you go to the Bear Foot Bistro in Whistler for Oysters and a Burger. Best burger EVAR!! I make trips there just for that burger….

Plus they have a damn fine wine list too. The oyster chef is exceptionally knowledgable and passionate about his craft. A frequent poster on the egullet forums about oysters.

I disassembled my Toshiba laptop to clean out the heat sync (which was causing it to crash). Now I’m surrounded by a hundred computer parts and a million little screws which are all different sizes.

So you know what I’ll be doing this weekend…

    Laptop shopping. :-)

Hey Tanya, sounds like you are having a great weekend. We went to the drive in with the three kids and watched “over the hedge” and then “click”. It was a great time. Today we are picking cherries off our huge cherry tree, and then going to a BBQ at Chris and Al’s, as we have relatives from Ireland here. Then Sunday I drop Rob off at the Airport, and head over to my Aunts for another family get together as it’s my Uncle’s 60th B-day. That’s my weekend. :) Enjoy everyone.

  • Iris says:

Rudy and I had a blast with you and MJ! Thanks for a fab night! We’ll definitely have to get together soon for some drunken board game fun! have a lovely Sunday :)

  • It’s been one of those fast-paced-blurry weekends, here in the Sault. Fetivals, bands, free lance journalism, super-hot weather, and plenty of busking. I looked foreward to it all, and enjoyed every moment of it. Hope yours was the same.

What time tomorrow for the Scrabblethon?? And what can I bring?

Hope you are having a great Saturday!

That is so awesome that you will be shooting film. I am tempted myslef now to pull out the old 35mm and do some moody black and whites. Might as well seeing as I just destoyed my new laptop so shooting digital wont work so well. Sigh. That was my weekend.
