So much for Fireworks viewing at our palace in the sky!
This is our view from our balcony in the sky. How dissapointing!
We declared a Gihad on the Palasades building that was completely blocking our view.
(Okay, I apologize: Very bad joke considering the terror climate right now) How completely sad that view was: All we saw were the tallest fireworks during the Symphony of Fire that Italy was competing in last night. We did see a lot of smoke, though!
I think we’ve decided to go to the Illuminares lantern festival instead of watching the next fireworks show on Saturday night. There will be more fireworks the following week, but only one night to play with fire at Trout Lake!
I hope those of you who got down to English Bay thoroughly enjoyed the show we missed! Shauna happily showed me the beautiful photos she took from her bedroom window, which had a completely perfect view!

Its the juice juice juice that makes it juicy!
The fireworks were very pretty from my place.
We watched them from our rooftop deck and had a perfect view line between the short buildings in front to the barge.

sigh… and rudy and i were hoping on crashing your balcony and revelling in your sky scraper status… you and M will just have to make it up to us some other way …
