MOVING MESS!!
I’ve migrated web hosts sooner than expected (last night) as Site5 ONCE AGAIN messed up badly. My server was down for 7 (yes seven) hours last night, and it took them six hours to get back to me!! Then, all they said was, oh, well, we’re having hardware issues, and didn’t I check the forum for this? HUH? Why should I do the legwork? Bastards.
A little housecleaning while I’m cleaning up around here! Don’t USE COMMENTS! Email me if you need to, and I’ll post your comment upon finishing my migration! I’m currently trying to figure out which blogging software I’ll go with now that I’ve decided to do the move with a bang! I’m now looking at: Moveable Type, WordPress, and TypePad. The b2 code is just too ancient to continue to adapt to the changing mySQL and PHP needs. Any suggestions on the new software? I’ll be doing this likely tonight, so email me!
Update (5:03am): I wasn’t feeling great tonight (Tuesday) so the blogging software changes will happen over the next few evenings. Thanks everyone for the emails — I think I’ve decided on WordPress due to it’s similarity to b2. If you have any feedback on these changes, I’d love to hear from you!
