Monday update, part 1
Hi All,
I’ve instituted many of the template changes before arriving work this morning (read: I was half asleep, so you might find some weirdness) — Things should be starting to look like my blog again. I’m still not finished of course, as none of the other pages/content are up yet, and some of the goodies haven’t been activated also. I’m getting there, though!
A quick note:  I’ve closed all older posts to comments. This shouldn’t be a big deal, as you can still read all the old comments that were posted when they were open… And, so far, this has completely eliminated any need for spam combatting measures, other than blacklisted words (which are basically any possible drug name you can think of, so buzz off prescription online-med-spammers!).
Just a few more days, and my site should be acting normally.
I’ll post my regular Monday blog post later today — No time to write it right now as work has been completely insane this morning!

Yes, WP does have very good anti-SPAM. Wait till the web-bots start crawling over your site: you may need some spacial plugins to take of those little pests.
Akismet and Bad Behavior (plugins) are a must for stopping those web crawlers dead in their tracks.

Yes, WP does have some very good anti-SPAM programs. Wait till those web-bots start crawling all over your site: you may need some special plugins to take of those little pests.
Akismet and Bad Behaviour (plugins) are a must for stopping those web crawlers dead in their tracks. 
They may not get through onto your main page, but you still have to delete the verified one’s, these two plugins kill them before that stage–very nice to have.
You have white text at the top…. overwriting your logo. I used the magnifying glass to find it.
BUT OF COURSE you did, Java. (I’d think you were ill if you weren’t using your magnifying glass!)Â
Its still there you know…. also, its 3 minutes to midnight… and, where is the rest of the Monday update?

Not to hijack this blog… But after searching for a few months and some blgs tonight, I thought I should ask if you (Netchick) are a Web Desginer? If so email me, I am looking for designers who have Template Monster style of design. I don’t mean to be rude but I am searching for a Template Monster designer or someone close to those kick ass designers.. my email is valid.. thanks and some good reads here…
