Happy Hump Day!
Ooops. Wait a minute… Stop the presses, it’s Thursday. How did that happen??!
I’m feeling a little better today. I think I just needed a good sleep and some cuddles. It’s amazing how a little human touch goes a long way. M really helped me with my mood last night. He’s definitely the calm one in our relationship.
But just as I was feeling better, REO Rafting pissed me off. They waited until the last minute to let us know that we can’t do the Thompson on Sunday, but if we wanted to do the Nahatlach Canyon run twice (for the same on-river time, but with better rapids) we’d have to pay $40 extra each. Otherwise, we’d have to leave Vancouver at 6:30am on Saturday in order to get up to Lytton for 10:30am to start on the Thompson.
I’ve managed to talk Vern and Michael into doing the Canyon twice, but hell, they should have given us a better deal than $10 off each for the higher-priced run.
Oh well… I’m determined to have a good day today, so I’ll deal. Hope everyone else has a fabulous Thursday as well! What’s everyone else looking forward to this long weekend?

A few weeks ago I was on a fire along the Thompson, right between Spences Bridge and Lytton. They had cancelled the Thompson run for a few days after the train derailment at Lytton.
I guess, in your case, they didn’t have enough people?

Hey Rog! Reo had some cancellations for Sunday for the Thompson, so we’re doing the canyon instead. I hope it’s worth it to do that run twice…

Tania, hope you have a fabo time rafting. Not sure if I’ll catch up with you guys, as my Doctor thinks I might not hold out till the 12th for my scheduled c-section. After todays visit, she is predicting I’m gonna pop next week eeek! scarey stuff ;o) I’ll keep you posted though.
Long weekend yippie looking forward to it, we are having a weekend in town, golfing, second beach pool just hanging out since we were away for 2 weeks. Have a great time Rafting… give us a call and we can get together..
