Flashback… January, 2005
Everyone remember this day?
Well, my hair has reached it’s original length it was before that photo was taken (almost all the way down my back), and it’s way too freekin’ long to do anything with anymore.
Not to mention it’s driving me completely nuts, because it’s in such horrific condition.
So, in 25 minutes, this chick is off to re-live that experience. (OMG.) Only this time, I’m going to Aveda Academy, and I’m NOT getting it coloured shit-brown. I think I will, however, go nearly as short. Maybe I should have some sake like I did the last time.
Good times. Maybe not. Ask me in 2 hours.
UPDATE:

Okay… it’s done! What a difference 7 inches makes! HOLY!!
My experience at the Aveda Academy was a good one! I’m actually surprised that I allowed myself to go to a student, but calmed my concerns by knowing that it wasn’t just a newbie stylist who hasn’t gotten their license, but actually a stylist advancing their skills for six months the “Aveda” way. My stylist was professional, friendly, and most importantly, listened to my needs, and did a great cut.
I’d go back! In fact, I plan on it — I want to get some low-lights (nothing too dark this time!!) and I’ve offered to be a hair model if my stylist needs me during her colour course next month. It’s a great way to get a really awesome deal on colouring, I think.
So, all-in-all, a very positive experience! The fact that I left the salon smiling for a change is certainly a relief.

Share pics! I’m sure you’ll still look hot
And yes, wine might be a good way to ease into that hehe
You’re *so so so* hot! A new doo will only make for even more hottness.
I really liked that haircut that time. Shocking yes but shocking those that have to look at us is a good thing once in awhile! And yes you always look hot.
Aww, thanks guys. [blush] It turned out pretty good, all in all! I hope when I wash it, it’s as good as it looks now.
Yay!
Oh Babe! Beautiful! You’re so hot you’re gunna trip the fire sprinklers in our condo!
Great photo! Love the hair too.

Btw, I grew up in BC, I miss the rockies. Never been to Van oddly enough lol. I lived closer to the AB border in a small skiing town called Fernie. I live in Quebec now. Just thought I would share lol..nice to see someone from home.
For some reason I was expecting the shaved head look. So this looks much better.
Wow – you look smashing darling!
I love it! Change it always good!

What a lovely picture of you! Your hair looks great and very healthy too. While it may feel short to you, you still have quite a bit of length. Where is the Aveda Academy located and what do they charge for a haircut?
Thanks for the compliments… Aww, aren’t you guys all super sweet?
Charlene: Aveda Academy is located in the 1200 block of Robson (near Payless Shoes) and I paid $30 for the cut and blowdry, with a bonus head and neck massage, which was an awesome way to calm my nerves!
