The weekend is nearly upon us! Amen!
This chick absolutely cannot WAIT until the weekend. The week is dragging for me, big-time, and not because of lack of things to do. I’m just dog-tired, and I really need to unwind from all this stress around me lately.
So, this weekend couldn’t come soon enough! Tim, Jody, Michael and I are heading to Saltspring tomorrow at 3pm, for a wedding on Saturday – The bed and breakfast that we’re all staying at will be just what the doctor ordered!! It’s a beautiful little place right in Ganges, that has quaint, yet large rooms which apparently have beautiful views of the Bay.
One thing I’m surprised about is the lack of direct ferry routes to Saltspring Island! Who knew we’d have to go all the way to Victoria before getting another ferry to Fulford — Which takes a total of two and a half hours of ferry time to get to our destination? Our ferry home is kinda direct (we don’t unload, but we have to go all the way to Tsawassen terminal) but we’re still on the ferry for over 2.5 hours! That’s just silly for such a large island, in my opinion!
Oh well — It’ll be an adventure. Just like the adventure of finding something in my closet for an OUTDOOR wedding on the first day of Autumn… Hmmm. That’s a challenge.

I always look forward to weekends! We’re going to see “Body Science” on Saturday at Science World, which I’m super excited about. It’ll be ghastly & fascinating all at the same time. Afterwards, we’ll go and eat & drink & be merry as usual.
Relaxing weekend for us it has been a very busy week. We are going to try and get on the seawall tomorrow pm for a bike ride it is soooo beautiful on an autumn day. have fun this weekend!

More amazing time with my newborn son, Quentin Matthew… he is now 11 days old and just amazing, I can’t believe how amazing. Hope your weekend on Saltspring was fantastic!
CONGRATULATIONS, Kiwi!!! Wow, that’s really awesome to hear you are doing well, and enjoying every moment of your new addition!!! Can’t wait to meet Quentin!
