Tuesday comes before Wednesday
So, tomorrow’s the big day! I’m heading into my new office with laptop in tow, ready to get started on my next chapter… I’m really excited about all this opportunity can be!
This afternoon, I had a really nice lunch with my Dad, as we talked about my new job, our upcoming cruise in three weeks, and life in general. My Dad is such a great guy, and always has a way of making me smile with the funny things he says. I’m glad he made it in from Surrey to share some time with me on my last day before my new position begins.
Thursday morning, I’m off to Seattle for business, and will be back on Friday evening… I haven’t spent much time in Seattle the last few years, so I’m up in the air as to what I’ll be doing that evening, but I’m sure I’ll find an interesting restaurant to try and/or shops to peruse after the business day comes to a close. If you have any suggestions for evening activities in the Queen Anne area, please let me know!
…I can’t believe it’s only Tuesday!

Wow – you work fast lady! I was in Seattle last week for business and had a lovely dinner at Brooklyn. The peppercorn steak still has my chops in a tizzy!
Where is the new gig and what are you doing?
Yeah, with that speed, I know that it’s not out by us.
Our candidates go through a looonger process.
I’m not at all surprised that you landed something so quickly. Your resourcefulness knows no bounds. As I write this, you’re likely getting ready to head in: may you have a wonderful first day. We’ll all be thinking of you.
Ah, Seattle….I can’t wait to go back. Definitely my favorite city. Well, next to Vancouver, of course. Must be that west coast vibe. Folks are definitely nicer there!
So, uhhh, who you working for these days? Email me.
SEVEN DAYS?!? You were out of work for only SEVEN DAYS?
I’ve taken sickies longer than that!! (sickies: australian for sick days… but you aren’t really sick. if you know what i mean.)
Happy you found work so soon. I guess. But now for something far more important… can you find me a job?
hey chick…I’m headed to VNC next week. What are the can’t miss TTD?
oh.. there’s so much to do on cruises: Drink, Eat and Be Merry
Have fun!
Queen Anne is a great place to hang out in Seattle. I love it so much that I live there!
Drop me a line and let me know what you are looking for and I will give you some suggestions.
Ooo, Seattle, I used to go there a lot!
It was SO long ago, I would not know anything about it now!
I love Seattle. Elliott’s is a friendly seafood restaurant, the oysters are amazing – like no-where else. I’m getting a headrush just thinking about it.
And good on ya with the new job.

Hey guys! Thanks for the Seattle thoughts — I’ll definitely look at them when I’m down next, which won’t be that long away.
