Hi, I’m Tanya…
I’ll be your unbalanced person for today. At least I’m on the high end of the seesaw this morning! I got into work early, enjoyed the crisp air while the sun brightened the morning horizon going into the office. Yep, that’s right, the sun is shining!
I’m so thankful for a reprieve from the lousy weather! I know *some* of us like it, but I’m not one of them!
And, on a separate note, I’m very thankful our neighbours to the south finally came to their senses and shifted the power last night… My Boyfriend can now stop calling himself a refugee of the Bush administration — Although, the puppet is still at the helm, he’ll have a tough time over the next two years to “stay the course” with all the very bad choices he’s made over the past six.
But, that’s just one chick’s view. How are you feeling about the election results?

YAY – First Women Speaker in the House!!! And with Donald Rumsfield’s resignation this is shaping up to be a glorious day! I guess you can tell how I’m feeling about this.
Works for me–even though I am still living in a very Red State.
Well my red state turned blue overnight. I live in AZ and we even managed to vote down a ban on same-sex marriage AND kick out a Rep incumbent to congress. Look at us go! Not to mention a Dem, woman governor.
Yeeeeaaaaaa, finally some sense has come to our southerly neighbours.
Although I’ve heard Canada may suffer slightly with the Dems in power (trade issues) I am looking at the bigger picture (i.e. the hope that the world doesn’t hate the west due to the actions of the US).
I’m rather glad things are looking down for Georgie boy… Now all we have to do is get the Australian Prime Minister’s nose out of GB Jr’s arse…
I’m very happt too. —> see smile—>
But, I’m going to wait and see who is going to run for the top job down there first before I jump on the bandwagon. I hope they don’t clone Bush and have Bush 2.02 running for office… yuk!
First woman speaker… and a non-Christian! Huuu-rah! Yay for diversity.
Wow! Cant wait for Friday…. Its going to be sooooo nice and quiet in Vancouver.
Im going to just ennnnjoy the silence…. ahhhhhh
Hey!! Why doesn’t Lara have a blog???? Somehow, I think that’s unacceptable
Today, the air smells even sweeter down here in Australia.
I think you said it quite well, Tan.
Well according to Tanya I am a blogger – albeit on her site.
I am more of a lurker.
I am definitely hopeful now.
It seems the power shifts about every 8 years, well there was that 12 year jag when Bush #1 rode in on Reagans coat tails, WHY I do not know.
Thank God, I feel the change a-coming and badly needed right now!
