It was missing a backwards-facing baseball cap…
But, the rest of the scene was about right! Last night, Vern and I played “LEGO Star Wars” on the X-Box: He had given me the game as part of my stocking, and we had a really great time geeking out, drinking beer, eating too much candy, and generally giving our light sabres a workout over a few hours.
You’d almost think I was born with boy chromosomes.
But, thankfully, when Zoe called me this morning, she let me know she loves the game as much as Vern and I enjoyed it last night… So, it’s not just me.
Now I just need to find some cheat codes, because we’re totally stuck currently escaping from Naboo.
How was everyone else’s day-after-Christmas (aka Boxing Day in Canada) yesterday?

I installed Warcraft on my new laptop.
I totally love that game! Unfortunately, I never have time to play it.
The NEW Star Wars (Original Trilogy) has Santa Claus as an unlockable character!
Wow. It looks like I’m still out of the loop with games. I occasionally play Sushi Samurai (on cbc.ca)and Bejeweled but I’ve only tried an xbox game once at a friends house.
For boxing day I went to chapters, discovered that it was 30% off for hardbacks and I had a gift certificate for $25 so I only paid 93 cents for David Suzuki’s autobiography!
Hey found you via Michele’s, I was touched by the parents story and the way people rallied together the true spirit of the season I think
I have to stay away from video games… I might not come up for air!
Michele sends her best…

Hey thanks NetChick
Really appreciated the feedback and have adjusted commenting accordingly
It does amaze me at times how great some people can be in the blogging community on a whole. I had forgotten how therapeutic this can be.
Sounds like a nail-biting edge of seats time.
Nothing better than slapping some Jawa’s. It made me giggle like a little girl every time I did it.
That, and being Han and getting to slap Chewie a couple of times.
What is it with me and slapping? I think I just liked the sound in the game…
nerd.
oh, i got Need For Speed Carbon which I can’t stop playing… (for the PC). Boy, I wish I had an x-box…
Takes one to know one, Shnewt! …and, your X-Box says hello. LOL!
I love playing that with Daniel! Great Game Tanya. I’d love to get the new one now. I just finished a couple of hours with Daniel trying out his new one “Incredibles”. Also great fun. ( On nintendo Game cube though). I’m glad you had a good Christmas. Me too!
