‘Nother crazy-fun Friday night!
We had every intention of breaking in my new poker set tonight… But by the time we got going, and I began to read the rules, it was apparent that it wasn’t poker we were wanting to play!
So, “Asshole” it was. Several rounds of it, and thankfully, we’re all good sports.
Well, maybe not Vern. He left early. He wasn’t feeling great… Okay, he gets a raincheck, but he’s bloody well playing poker the next time, dammit! We had a perfect crew of seven to start the evening off.
Oh well, “Asshole” was fun! We all yacked between hands (or, more aptly put, we yacked when we were supposed to be playing) but that was half the fun.
Good times were had by all. And, thankfully, I kept my maniacal laughing in check for most of the night… Good times!!!!

Its a great card game actually. Probably one of the best. Surprising things can happen. Generally one person captures the top seat and makes an alliance to keep it…. to the ire of everyone else. 5 to 8 people work best.
