My gratitude list, because it's been a while:
On this rainy Tuesday afternoon in Vancouver, I find myself thinking about what I have in life that I’m very thankful for. I thought I’d share my list with you:
- – My loving family who is always there to support me, even when they don’t always agree with my choices.
- – My health. (One rarely realizes how fleeting health is until they or someone close to them falls ill)
- – My career… It’s so fulfilling, challenging, and sometimes even a lot of fun; I love the fact that my talents are valued.
- – My home… It’s my safe haven and my castle, and I absolutely love the location.
- – My friends whom I adore an incredible amount. These people are so giving, supportive, thoughtful and kind.
- – My down-time: Believe it or not, there was a time in my life that I didn’t allow myself any at all. Now I very much appreciate the time I take to myself to recharge.
- – My country (even with a government in power that I don’t agree with on the most part) because the people in it are remarkable.
- – My visitors here to this site, each of whom, in their own way, are amazing. I love the diverse group of cool friends I’ve met through blogging.
- – The espresso-flavoured Häagen-Dazs I have waiting for me when I get home… (heheh! I had to add that)
What are you thankful for?

Briefly, I have a container of espresso-faloured Häagen-Dazs at home, as well. Sigh… four more hours to go.
I am thankfull for laughter…heheh I love to laugh.. and of course Vodka who won’t be thankfull for the drink that goes with everything.
Ooops. I forgot the vodka. Thanks for the reminder! Oh, and I’m also thankful for the metal martini glasses that Tracey and Rog gave to me last year. They’re GREAT.
And, for chocolate martinis.
Oh wait. It’s only Tuesday. I’ll be thankful for chocolate martinis on Friday. Until then, I’ll be thankful for the idea of them…
I’m grateful for a very understanding Sweetheart who has been very patient with a wife who has not been herself lately.
why does this sound like an oscar acceptance speech? you forgot to thank the good lord for giving you strength and the little baby jesus for… um… being a really great… baby.
Hmm… good point, P. LOL!
I am thankful that you always have a place that I can come visit. You never fail to make me a smile. So thank you for you!!
Yum, chocolate martini.
Grateful for mobility not febrility, and scads of time with no hostility, the ability to be online, soliloques and husky voice purring a lilt that pleases.
Pretty much the same list as you except add: the fact that I got through this relatively crummy day smiling
