The Mid-Week Socializing Game!!
Hey guys! It’s that time of the week, again… Time to socialize on the fly! (And, I’ll have one of those shots in the photo, please!)
Here’s how it works:
I’ll start with a question, and the first person answers my question, and then asks a different question for the next person in the same comment.
I’ll start!
Where did you go on your last vacation? Did you enjoy it?

Last vacation: Paris, it was my third time there. It was an alright trip. I finally got to see the catacombs & the Pompadou Centre (which I loved). There was a heat wave and the hotel clerk bullied me into some erroneous charges (it was subsequently reversed). Next time I’ll go during the cooler months though.
Question: What movie had a profound influence on you?
Well that would have to be The Breakfast Club! That movie alone prompted me to become a filmmaker, which brought me to my current gig of photographer.
“What if your home, what if your family, what if your dope was on fire? Impossible, sir. It’s in Johnson’s underwear.†Pure Genius really!!
If you could have dinner with anyone alive or dead, what would you eat!
If I were alive, I would eat Pizza… and, if I were dead, I would eat worms, before they ate me!
What are you giving up for Lent (which is today)? ((Don’t say Pancakes))
A: Lent… That would be a Catholic thing, no? Since I’m an atheist (or, at least close to it), I wouldn’t believe in lent either. That said, if I had to give anything up, (I’m still not sure what lent is really for, other than deprivation?) I guess I’d give up chocolate bars.
Q: Have you ever been in the hospital as a patient?
nope never been in the hospital as an adult (knock on wood )
Question:
Are you planning on going on any awesome vacations in the next year? do tell…
A: Oh oh! I have to jump in on this one, because it’s still my lunch — I sure hope we’re all still heading on the Hawaii family cruise in September!! Now, I just have to find a ‘mate’ to join me — Any takers?
Q: Are you a flirt? If so, do you come by it naturally?
wow i have to answer this one.. I am a flirt well kinda just a little and honestly it does come naturally.. hehehe
question:
what is your favorite food?
Candy, particularly chocolate covered cherries! But if that’s not a proper answer then it’d be my lasagna.
Do you engage in any paddle sports?
(Hey Dave! I haven’t had chocolate covered cherries in years! Thanks for the reminder)
A: Why yes! In fact, I am desperately hoping to get back to rowing full time next month if my schedule can manage it. I’ve also tried kayaking and loved it! (Have you done any trips out on the water lately?)
Q: What does your ideal weekend consist of? Relaxing, or full of excitement?
Nope. Not in a sexual game way nor in an active healthy lifestyle way either.
What was your favorite Valentine’s Day gift, ever?
So, well, you answered too quickly for me, so my answer is, well, doesn’t make sense.
As for an ideal weekend? Relaxing. I prefer to sit on the couch and catch some movies. Then spend the next day at a beach somewhere.
Still putting out that favorite Valentine’s Day gift question.
Flowers sent to my office is my favorite valentines gift…
what are you plans for this weekend anything exciting going on?
flowers sent to my office.
q: any exciting plans this weekend?
I’m taking my younger son to his first Monster Truck show for his birthday.
He has no idea!
… and JohnC just killed the thread.
Unless of course it should read “He has no idea?” which would be a question. For which my answer would be… “Absolutely not!”
Q: Have you ever woken up with a complete stranger?
HAAAAAAAAAAAA! LOL!
A: Errr. Um. Maybe? Perhaps when I was 18? Ya. Then.
Q: Is it just me, or is being single in Vancouver a challenge?
I forgot to hand in my card. I think that one girl liked you. I behaved myself…. more than I expected I would…. I 3anted Fritz Chips with Poutine.
and now, Vern’s the thread killer. (You behaved yourself??! Hahah!)
So, I’ll ask my question again:
Q: Is it just me, or is being single in Vancouver a challenge?
A: No. It’s just you.
Q: Do you think NetChick will post something new today?
I think she will !
And… also Yes! Being single in Van is a challenge. Men in Vancouver are all retarded, stuck up and not worth the effort. haha
Do seasons make you depressed? If so, which one and why?
A: Yes… well, sometimes. In Edmonton February sucked much more than here because there was still lots of winter left, here it’s starting to be spring like so not so much depression for weather related causes.
Q: Do you think T will share all the details about the speed dating fun she and Vern had last night?
i hope so. i want to know all about it.
what time do you think she will post information about speed dating?
Why arn’t you showing up tomorrow night Lara? Hmmm?
i’m having pizza with my dad.
Oh good! After pizza, you can come out then. I will save a glass for you.
Better watch out… I have a name I have been dying to call you. (( Wouldnt want that now… would we? ))
Where’s the next question then?
Did i miss out on the fun?
Hi from the UK
where is your favourite place in your house or flat?
where tanya talks about speed dating.
next question: what was your experience Tanya?
Tanya!!! Lara’s making me fun of me again… and AND … she’s being a big threadkiller too! And! She didn’t eat all her vegetables last week.
There’s no question for me to answer so I’m just going to have to say hi tanya and sorry it’s been so long since I stopped by! I’ll have to be a bit more consciencious from now on! Hope all is well!!!
