Okay, okay… I'm a 'free stuff whore'.
I can’t help it! Free toys make Tanya a happy, happy girl!
Last week, I was contacted by Hill & Knowlton, a PR company representing Motorola, asking if I’d like to try out the new Motorola KRZR phone. They’d noticed that I received a Nokia last summer in a similar viral marketing campaign, and suggested I try the KRZR to compare.
“Of course, I’ll take a free phone” I said! In fact, this phone bonus couldn’t have been more timely! My dodgy, old LG phone accidentally found its way into some wine (place sheepish look here) not-too-long ago, and it’s seen better days. It still works pretty well, though, and it’s actually being handed off to a co-worker who’s phone just died a few days ago as well.
So tomorrow, I will happily be looking forward to receiving my brand new Telus version of the KRZR — Yay!! Good times!

My wife gets free stuff all the time. She finds freebies all over the net and we’re always getting new stuff in the mail to try out and fill out surveys about new products. I even started my own freebie blog because of it. I posted a video on youtube showing some of the free stuff we got. It’s posted on my website. Check it out.
I get free stuff but not from blogging though. My best “free” thing was a mountain bike from a raffle. I guess my luck runs in raffles…

Glad to hear the timing is right. Hmmm…how does a phone find its way into ‘some wine’.
Err… Well, you see… There was this Christmas party I hosted, and well, there were cold meds involved, and um, the phone kinda slipped into my glass.
Everyone else thought it was terribly funny — But, it took two days for the phone to dry out. Not good.
