1:40 A.M.
I had a really. Great. Weekend.
Much, much needed to be honest.
Let’s see… I socialized, went shopping, helped friends from out-of-town find quite amazing accommodation at the last minute, drank, worked, (– too much for a weekend, sadly) had a very, very long date (that was thoroughly, and incredibly enjoyable I might add), went rollerblading with a group of extremely silly friends, had a pedicure and ate the most amazing lunch with Miranda, shared an incredible bottle of wine from Burrowing Owl, caught up with Chris online, (you always rock C…), and worked some more. PHEW!
What did you do? I hope it was… damned good. Because, well, life is good! I have no doubt that it can always get better. So, I ask: Where are you going to take it, next??!

Sounds like a fabulous weekend. Love your bold(ed) challenge. (Where are you going to take it, next??!)
My weekend seemed a week long, particularly Sunday. Long walks, taking photos, finishing up a novel (reading it not writing it I mean).
Let me know if you ever want to exchange lives.
Hi T:
Sounds like you had a good weekend! Even though you had to do some work, it’s always feels good to get stuff done as one feels more energetic afterwards.
I visited with a friend, ate some yummy sushi, saw the movie “Breaking & Entering” (and got to look at Jude Law for 2 whole hours!), went to the gym, bought new sheets, my volunteer job came though (yippee!) and I found some cool books at chapters.
Next weekend I have to work darn it! Oh well, I might go to an art auction afterwards though.
Had a very nice weekend too. Had some good food, saw a show at the Commodore, and went out for a good 4 hour bike ride in the sunshine yesterday.
i mostly worked, but on saturday evening i met with some friends for lunch and we played some ps2 afterwards – rayman raving rabbits is so funny! i wish we had the wii version…
had an awesome weekend! went to a party. got home at 10:30 the next morning. fooled around a bit with a good friend who I’ve known for ages. may have to try that again.
next? I’m going to Africa.
Had a good one! Culminating with spraining my ankle. But before that! It was awesome…
Pearl: Wow, yours sounds very busy, but relaxing, too!
Shnewt: Y’know, I’ve always wanted to do that!! Wouldn’t it be the coolest to switch lives with someone for a day? Work and all? God, think of the mess I could make with your new job!!
That would be so much fun! National Switch Lives Day!! Who’s on board?
Patricia: Did you like “Breaking & Enteringâ€, other than Jude Law, of course?
Al: I’m so darned envious. I really need to get on that buying a bike thing, perhaps!
omphteliba: I want a WII!!
Donna: I was reading that on your site — How very cool would that trip be? My friend did that a year or so ago now (same type of trip) and found it completely rewarding and a true adventure! You go girl!!
Atpanda: Darn! That’s no way to end a fine weekend! Glad the rest of it was great, though!!
Yes, I liked “breaking & entering” a lot. I wouldn’t say it was one of the best movies that I’ve seen. But there’s definitely a lot to like. I read a review that predicted that it would be destined to be shown in film studies courses.
It’s a relationship story mostly, which I rather liked and there was some (a little) humour. It had architecture and acrobatics in it too!
But I won’t spoil it for you by saying too much more except that at the end of the film there were a bunch of little old ladies in the Ridge theatre foyer who thought that the movie was just “marvy”!
i was thinking of you… we saw thousands of snow geese down at reifel… and a little saw-whet owl with a mouse in its talons.

oh oops – no sound with digital cameras anymore…
Well, we had a good weekend too, I guess. I lazed around with the kids saturday, Rob had a gig with the “big band” that night. Sunday we drove up to Squamish for a b-day party ( a friend of Daniel’s ) I turned 38,(Oh…. I’m getting old! ) and ate sushi with the family at home. ( we were supposed to do a family dinner, but the kids were too cranky coming back after a long day. Monday I was feeling “pissy”, and just didn’t want to do anything was wasn’t for myself.. but then the sunshine came out and changed my mind. All in all spring break and this past weekend have been good. Everyone is healthy, I can’t ask for more than that.
take care Tanya
Wow! You were really busy, Tan. Congrats on the date–I hope that things continute to go well in that area.
I didn’t do much this past weekend. Walked around an arboretum in Raleigh, planted some annuals and a few bushes. That’s about it.
Hey Tanya–I’m back from begin an academic monk. Even posted an entry on my blog.
Viva la blog!
