This is a no-drama zone!

Seriously, why do some people thrive on drama? Does it make them feel like they matter more, somehow? Does stirring up trouble unnecessarily give them some sort of sense of belonging? It’s weird.

Recently, I was reminded of this kind of needless crap that I thought I left behind in high school. It comes down to people meddling where they shouldn’t… And stirring up crap to get attention.

It’s just so juvenile.

So, I’m giving notice right now. I will not be involved in stupid shit that truly doesn’t involve me. Please leave me out of your useless drama. I’m here as an ear for friends, always. But, I will not be dragged into something I shouldn’t have any part in. Period.

So there.

Nah.

I hope everyone has a DELIGHTFUL weekend!! Me? I’m really looking forward to what I know will be an awesome date on Saturday night with a guy who really knows what chivalry is. And, I am hoping to catch up with my brother and his wife tonight after doing some much-needed clothes shopping. What do you have plans for, this weekend?

The in-laws are coming to visit their granddaughter. So we will probably have a few good laughs, play with Gillian (who is now 6 mo’s old and a barrel of laughs) and pretty much nothing else will get done.

My father-in-law is my drinking buddy, so we will probably grill a steak and open a really nice bottle of Paraduxx (Duckhorn Vineyards – Napa) on Sunday.

T!!! LMAO! I think you need to blog about what prompted this one personally… I mean lay out all the details so ALL of us can be involved in the drama!

    ok, not.

I am going to be buying a lawn mower this weekend… and cutting the grass for the first time this year. Ref’ing a couple games Saturday afternoon/evening… and sitting home the rest of the time with a cold beer and playing XBox. Life can’t get much better than this eh?

Hope your date goes wonderful for you woman.

I like to refer to that as “bullshit drama”. I get irrationally angry about bullshit drama. :D

  • NetChick says:

Hell… D: It’s not IRRATIONAL to be angry about bullshit drama. Seriously, that’s the only rational emotion involved.
