On the way to the Bjork concert…
…I was listening to Z 95.3 for a change, and was surprised to hear Buzz Bishop discussing Meg Fowler‘s blog. He actually went on at length about her three top 10 lists she wrote yesterday.
And it got me thinking… Meg’s got it right. She often reflects on the little things that make her day something to be appreciated — I don’t think us life bloggers do that enough. I was inspired!
So, I bring you… Tanya’s Top 10 Reasons Why Last Night’s Adventure Was So Much Fun!
10) It was a spectacularly perfect evening — It wasn’t too hot, and the smell of the grass (lawn, not the other grass) brought me back to a time in childhood when I’d watch my Dad cut the lawn in the back yard
9) Miranda and Reilly got there early and saved me a great spot near the stage — Just far enough away so the slope was perfect to see everything during the performance. (Click here to see the awesome shots Reilly got of Bjork with his smuggled-in camera and HUGE lens!)
Seeing Bjork live was really remarkable — She puts on a great show, and the songs chosen brought the audience through a journey of sorts. It was really neat!
7) Beer!
6) I found a parking spot fairly close to the entrance, as it seems I got there just as all the free spots were filling up fast.
5) I found some new songs that I hadn’t heard before from Bjork that I enjoyed.
4) The croud was really well-behaved (other than the obnoxious guy beside me who kept almost hitting me with his constantly lit cigarettes). I was surrounded by good energy!
3) Did I mention beer?
2) Half the songs Bjork did got me in a very reflective mood, and I found myself realizing how much I’ve been enjoying life recently, and how lucky I am in general. Life is indeed… Great!
1) I was lucky enough to see Bjork live with a group of friends that I adore… How much better of an adventure is there than that? Good times!

And, tonight… I’m really looking forward to catching up with Zoe for dinner at Carderos! I can’t wait!
Have you done anything fun, lately? Are you looking forward to any upcoming adventures in the next few weeks?

Funny thing about the media talking about weblogs, that’s how I found your blog way back in 2004, through CBC Radio One when they pciked your to talk about the “new” phenomenon. And, it was that turn of events that inspired me to start up my own weblog….
Those are really good photos of Bjork! I wish I was there….
Fun…. Well, I’m going Hang-Gliding this weekend! First time up in one, with an instructor of course. This should be interesting. It’s my way of going green: no fuel involved while enjoying the fun of flying. Have a great weekend T and friends!
my adventures are work realted, but I am learning massage therapy – THAT is a great adventure!
