Inspiring, on so many levels…
I’m not going to go into huge detail tonight, because quite honestly, I’ve been up since 6am EDT which is 3am PDT, and I’m still not yet adjusted to the time difference.
But, I just had to share my experience tonight.
This evening, I attended the AWRT (American Women in Radio and Television) Gracie Allen awards show, and it was truly a life altering night.
No, it wasn’t because I met some truly remarkable women (and, I did…), nor because I was in New York taking in the scenery from a different part of the world (and it truly is… even better than the last time I visited, and in the same hotel as my previous Trade Show experience in New York over a year ago), but rather because tonight everything that I work towards on a daily level was brought into crisp reality as hosts and producers were awarded Gracies for excellence in broadcast.
Next year, I want to be one of the women who directly attributed to one of the awards… My goal is set on “Outstanding Podcast” or… even better download Antz dvd
… “Outstanding Interactive Website”. In my eyes, either one of these is achievable, and especially with the clients that we have. They represent ground-breaking, women’s talk radio. The network I represent is incredibly inspiring, and, even the two awards tonight that I was there to celebrate were just the start of something truly remarkable, if I have anything to do with it!
Okay, I’m finished gushing for now. I had better post some photos from tonight… But look forward to many more from tomorrow night’s celebrations on Park Avenue!
I’m having the time of my life…

What a fabulous goal – that’s rather inspiring in itself, I must say. The very best to you in chasing it down!
you.
Getting out of town… wherever town is for you… is inspiring. If you are having a bit of a go… just get the hell out…
It clears your mind… it puts things in perspective…
And… life always seems a little better from a new perspective.
Im back… much to tell.
Aww! Thanks guys! (and I agree, Vern)
This trip was a fabulous one! I’m now the walking dead, as I’ve literally been up for 24hours straight at the time of writing this, but the trip was fabulous!
