It's the MID-WEEK Socializing Game! (yay!)
Hey guys! It’s that time of the week, again… Time to socialize on the fly! (And, I’ll have one of those shots in the photo, please!)
Here’s how it works: I’ll start with a question, and the first person answers my question, and then asks a different question for the next person in the same comment.
I’ll start!
What would your ideal long weekend consist of?
You can follow any responses to this entry through the RSS 2.0 feed. Both comments and pings are currently closed.

At this point, after working every day for three weeks straight and no sign of letting up. My ideal long weekend would be to sleep. Read a book, play some Wii(must finish my quest to becoming the Godfather).
Anything you’re looking forward to this summer?
A.I’m looking forward to my online course finishing and of course doing a little hiking.
Q. What is your favourite science fiction character? and why?
A. Not a big sci fi fan. I liked the movie Contact though, so I guess I’d have to say Jodie Foster’s character (I can’t even remember the character’s name!)
Q. For vacations, do you prefer somewhere hot and beachy or something off the beaten path?
A: I like both, actually. Lately my trips have been to places that aren’t necessarily hot, and in the summer, that’s sometimes fun. I’m definitely not a lounge-on-the-beach-all-day kinda chick, though.
Q: What is your latest guilty pleasure?
A: There is a vending machine right outside my office that sells KitKat Chunky. I… can’t… NOT have one of those damn things when I see them. Bastards.
Q: What was your favorite chocolate bar growing up and when was the last time you had one?
A: Malteezers – Love em! About a year back now
Q: What was the last scientific experiment (mad scientist approach also applies) you performed? (Bonus: what were the results?)
Substituting whatever that dark stuff is in the freezer for tomato paste (At time of dumping into pot i was sure it was either mole sauce or sun-dried tomato sauce) And a bunch of other substitutions. Yep, it worked.
Ever know an adult to hide under the bed in a thunderstorm?
ok, can I change my question? anyone know any good new online quizzes?
I’m wondering if pearl didn’t change her question ’cause SHE was hiding under the bed during the thunderstorm!!!!
he he, jus’ kidding….
A. Online quizzes? Not really. But most of my friends seem to like this one right now:
http://www.quizgalaxy.com/quiz_83.html
although I’m not certain it counts as a quiz really…
Q. What was the weirdest show that you liked when you were a kid? (I’ll admit to liking “Chico the Rainmaker”, even though it’s really embarassing…. but we only had 2 stations where I lived…really!).
A: I didn’t watch a lot of TV growing up, actually. There were several years (like, more than 8 years) that we didn’t have cable. Pop culture is certainly not my forte from that era! That said, I remember enjoying Lawrence Welk (just kidding!) — Probably Starski & Hutch, when my Dad wasn’t covering my eyes from the ‘violence’ of it all!
Q: What did you have for dinner tonight?
A: Rosmarie crusted pork tenderloins with sauteed mushrooms and onions, brown rice, and broccoli with garlic butter sauce. I decided to spoil myself tonight…or maybe i’m just practicing for when I have somebody to cook for.
Q: Are you more of an early bird, or a night owl?
I am the worst night owl ever, which is not ideal when my work arrival time is 6:45am. Left to my own devices I can easily stay up until 3am and sleep until noon.
What is the last movie you saw, and did you enjoy it?
A; The last movie I saw was an old Michael Keaton movie called “Johnny Dangerously” and it is hysterical. I laughed out loud so many times my sides hurt. If you haven’t seen it, rent it.
Q: Is your “significant other” a Ferrari or a Chevy and why?
A: A rabbit, actually
LOL… *giggle*
Q: Which Magazine do you read regularly?
A. The Kiss Machine!!!
Q. What was the last song that got “stuck” in your head?
‘Stop’ by the Spice Girls.
Laugh if you must – I’m a not-so-much-in-the-closet-now fan.
Okay, now that everyone’s had a good chuckle at my expense…
What’s the one sporting activity you’ve wanted to pursue for a while but haven’t due to time/money/lack of intestinal fortitude?
I’ve got two! Skydiving. Rockclimbing. These are both sports I sort of got into, but skydiving = expensive as hell to get licensed, although it becomes much cheaper at that point. Rockclimbing, I got really into, but my climbing buddy quit, which made it harder. It’s also pretty expensive, which didn’t help. Plus, I’m in lousy shape now, so getting back into it would hurt.
What was the last movie you saw in a theatre?
A: “Knocked Up” — Loved it! Esp. since the actor, and the main character are both from Vancouver. It’s a great movie for both girls and guys. I highly recommend it!
Q: Do you have a best friend?
A.Yes, that would be my friend Tyler.
Q. What is the first thing that you will do when you get off of work today?
a: Already enjoying a Grey Goose Dirty Martini since it 6:30 here in Florida. Thinking about one more.
b: If you could spend a day with anyone from any time period, who would it be (significant others and Jesus excluded)?
Leonardo DaVinci.
(not just because he recently had a lot of publicity, either) Because he was interested in everything, he tried everything, and he had theories and ideas about everything. It would be neat to talk to him and find out more about his outlook on life, what kind of person he was and the way he approached things. I could tell him about all the cool stuff that we figured out later that he was wondering about, like flight. He’d be anything but boring to hang around with.
Question: Describe something that’s happened to you for which you have no explanation.
A: My recent rejuvenation for life… and everything it brings along with it. Tyler thinks it may have to do with my recent trip to NY, and he may be right, but I think that life in general has just gotten a lot brighter without a lot of the ‘stuff’ I’ve been carrying around for years. Life is good.
Q: When was the last time you felt totally alive?
