It's the MID-WEEK Socializing Game!
Hey guys! It’s that time of the week, again… Time to socialize on the fly! (And, I’ll have one of those shots in the photo, please!)
Here’s how it works: I’ll start with a question, and the first person answers my question, and then asks a different question for the next person in the same comment.
I’ll start!
In the spirit of the fact that I’ve retracted my self-imposed dating hiatus, do you have any dating advice for this single chick? Heber Holiday ipod

I don’t use any internet services on my phone, but that’s because I live in Korea and there’s no English instructions on my phone. However, I do use my phone for about 500-600 minutes a month locally, and 3 to 4 hours of international long-distance calls, and my phone bill hovers around $100 a month. I figure the prices are pretty good here. Sorry I couldn’t help you out, though.
What’s your biggest service-related pet peeve?
There are not many. In India, most things go slow and we learn to take it in our stride.
How many times do you jog in a week?
None but I go to the gym at least twice a week.
Q: How many hours of sleep do you get on average?
WEIRD, Tawcan. That was going to be my question.
A: About 7 on weeknights, despite aiming for 8 hours every single night. I always end up going to bed later than I intend to! I make up for it on the weekends, averaging 10 hours a night.
Q: Are you a social butterfly type with lots of friends, or the type with just a few close friends and many acquaintances?
A: Yes, most of my friends would classify me as a social butterfly. I love having lots of friends that I trust and enjoy. The downside to that of course, is that I sometimes don’t have as much time as I’d like to share with them.
Q: What did your last text message say?
A: Thinking of you.
However, it’s not from “someone special”, it was from my friend Tom, while he was “taking care of business” in the bathroom. Kind of an inside joke…I sometimes get bored when I’m sacrificing my children to Poseidon, and there’s not much to do except text people; Tom repays the favor.
Q. What kind of camera do you have and what are your favorite kind of pictures to take?
A: I have an awesome Canon Rebel XTi — I LOVE it!! (I also have a Canon SD400) My favourite pictures include abstracts such as a close-up of a graffiti-laden urban wall, and also taking people pictures when they’re not posing. (Check out my photo albums on this site for my latest photowalk photos!)
Q: Have you ever stayed in a really neat B&B?
A. I’ve stayed in a number of B&Bs over the years, Tan. The one I remember best is in Savannah GA and was run by a gay couple. They were such wonderful hosts I didn’t want to go back home.
Q. What’s your favorite Tom Hanks’ movie?
gotta chime in on the cell web access issue..
i use my MDA for email, surfing, IM, SMS, MMS, uploading pics to flickr and occassionally for making calls! i’m happy with T-Mobile’s plan..unlimited Data, IM/SMS and T-Mobile hotspot use (my phone or laptop) for 29.95 USD. Slow EDGE/GPRS, but unlimited and great customer support! I feel for you all up north!
M! Great to see you here!
Thanks for your comments.
Since Dave was missed… I’ll answer his!
A: Castaway, although I enjoy pretty much all of his movies besides Da Vinci Code
Q: Do you have any big plans this weekend?
(My, how I love this game!)
A. I’m going to spend it with my brood, catching up with my wife after she was away for waaaaay too long, looking after her mom in the hospital. It’ll be amazing to have her back.
Q. What was your happiest moment ever?
What was your happiest moment ever?
A: I don’t want to be cheesy and say my wedding day because man, that was just stressful hehe – I probably have to pick some time at some point when I was with my family. My mom, dad, grandparents (with whom I was very close) and my siblings.
Q: If you were a tourist in Vancouver what’s the ONE souvenir you’d want to take back home?
A. Man, that’s a no-brainer. I’d want to bring Tan home with me. What else could compare?
Q. When you picked where to live, (or if you’re thinking about moving) what was the main criteia for that decision?
I’ve chosen Hawaii because it’s so different from Vancouver: nice weather all year, swimmable beaches, different kind of food all year round.
Q. What is your favourite environmentally-friendly thing to do?
Ride a bike.
Q: How fast can you type? Do you type with all 10 fingers or just 2? (Ok it’s a 2 part question)
Tanya I added your site on my blogroll. Hope you could do the same.
A: Last time I checked, it was about 90wpm, give or take. I know at one point, uncorrected, my speed was about 105 or so. All 10 fingers. It’s painful to watch ppl type with only 2!
Q: What do you do when you are angry?
A: Practice taekwondo – trying to kick above my head.
Q: What do you crave the most today?
A. I craved not having a splitting headache!!!!
Q. If you could cast anyone to play yourself in the movie about your life who would it be? Be creative, really really think about it now….
(I think Jennifer Grey should play me)
