I'm off to BarCamp, tomorrow!
I’m really looking forward to my first Vancouver BarCamp, which starts tomorrow and carries on until Saturday evening. It’s a very cool event (err, should I say, “unconference”?) that provides the social media and online technology communities to come together and informally learn in a social setting. It’s been overbooked for weeks now, with over 70 people on the waiting list. To say it’s a popular event is an understatement!
I’ll be participating in two sessions where I’m presenting: The first being a presentation that I’ve put together to overview the latest monetization opportunities for online communities (both personal and business), and the second, an informal panel discussing Social Media and Marketing. Should be a lot of fun!

This will be my second barcamp, should be fun. I recommend bringing your own mug for slurping coffee/tea etc.. There is a coffee bar at workspace.
A bunch of people from UBC will be going as well so there should be interesting.
