Friday Silliness… TGIF!
Woohoo… It’s Friday again! Yay!!
Here’s some Friday Silliness for you: (I dare you to try it at a local pub this weekend!)
Last night’s first photography workshop was fun. Well, after Cynthia came by and saved me, that is. I was standing at the front entrance to this building trying to figure out how to get into the locked door (with no buzzer number) when Cynthia came along and said, uh, it’s a street address — It’s not in the building. So, I dutifully followed her down to the live/work loft with an entrance off the street and felt kind of stupid. That said, there were three other people with me feeling just as sheepish. The course looks like it’ll be right up my alley — More than half the class of 11 have the same camera as I do (a Rebel XTi), and the instructor shares plenty of anecdotes along with the course information, which I really enjoy. I’m now looking forward to next Thursday’s class!
What’s everyone looking forward to this weekend? Me? I *really* want to go shopping for some clothes tomorrow, I’ve got a friend coming over for lunch and possibly Scrabble on Sunday, and tonight, I’m heading out to send off a friend who’s moving away. (She’s calling the celebration a ‘piss-up’ in her usual Irish way… )

This weekend I’ll be taking the LSAT in San Francisco and writing. And writing. And then I’ll write some more.

I was hoping to read through the entries last night but was busy packing. Now I won’t have time to read all the entries considering I’m leaving work at 5 and heading straight to Squamish. Going to the Chief this weekend and helping out cleaning a climbing route. Should be interesting hanging by ropes for 7+ hrs.
ha silly- i would have been standing right there with ya had i not just by chance asked the gal when i registered and i’ve been to that bldg before so sorta knew…but the indian food they mentioned i so want to try!

This weekend for me, work (which was today, and I got a lot done), maybe stop by to Word on the Street to take some pics of some new friends, and then it’ll be all about the VIFF movies………………….
Speaking of movies I have a recommendation if you like cult flicks(I saw it on the telly last night), a B&W 1964 flick called “Spider Baby”, it was weirder than “the Bad Seed”. Tan have you seen this one?
This weekend I want to relax. Checking my mail, reading, sleeping and doing nothing. Too tired sincelast fornight.
