A life of extremes!
Today, GREAT!
Yesterday, sucked BIG TIME
.
I know, it’s all relative, but seriously, yesterday was one of the worst workdays I’ve experienced in over a year. I wanted to drive down to Seattle and yell at someone. But, I didn’t. Barely. Long story, but basically, in order to help a client meet a deadline, I worked most of Sunday, and then went into work yesterday morning at just after 4am… And, did I even get thanks? No… I got abuse. It certainly wasn’t fun. I guess we’ve all gotta have those days. I had mine.
But today! Very cool! Not only is Third Tuesday on tonight at Soho, with another great speaker this month, Joe Thornley of ProPR.ca (in from Ontario!), but I also just found out that I get to try Roger’s new Vision Network for a month with a very cool phone, thanks to Tod Maffin! YAY! How cool is that? Can you say… Vlog!?
And then, I got back from lunch to find out that I won four tickets to see TheatreSports for my submission to the “Top 10 Reasons to See TheatreSports” — My submission? “Without TheatreSports, my life wouldn’t have meaning!” — Chuckle!!
So… Who wants to come with me? There’s three spare tickets! I’m thinking not this Friday, but the next one would be fun! (the 26th?) Anyone? Anyone?
Anyone else having a life of extremes right now? I hear Mercury is in retrograde… Good times.

i haven’t been to theatre sports for years. If you think the boy and i would make good humour companions, count us in.
Ooh – have fun with that! The 26th is an exciting evening for me – I am officially launching (well, soft-launching, shall we say) my new wedding planning business to a group of very welcoming and forgiving women so I hope they don’t mind that I’m nervous as all hell about it.
Sounds like fun. BUT, is audience participation optional? I’m not that great at improv (at least I don’t think I am, I haven’t tried since the 10th grade…)
Hey Zoe! They’re yours! Let’s figure out the day to go!
Hey, that’s awesome, Laura! Congratulations… How very exciting!! WOOHOO! Keep us all posted! (You’ll do great!)
Hi Patricia! Yep, audience participation isn’t mandatory at all… Unfortunately, though, the tickets were scooped up by Zoe, Jason (her boy) and Vern! But, I’ve also got two for one, so if you want to go with me over the next month, let me know!
