I’m so excited right now, I can’t even breath right!!!11one
I booked the cruise directly through Royal Caribbean, rather than an independent, and holy crap did it pay off this time! I guess a lot of people are looking for a deal at this time of year and didn’t choose “jr. suite guarantee” category like I did when booking (my friend really wanted the suite for a number of reasons, including a bathtub… Not found with normal outside cabin or balcony cabins)
So, you can imagine my GLEE when I went to see our cabin assignment (which was early, I might add, because most of the time, they assign when you literally get on board when you select ‘guarantee cabin type’) and I found our cabin was UPGRADED TO the GRAND SUITE!!!! ERR HELLO!!! THANK YOU!!! 
Um. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
That suite is double the size of what I was hoping for and full concierge service to boot. Yayyyyy!!!! Woooohoooooooo!!!!!

Trust me, P… I almost *did* pee my pants when the suite assignment came through.
And, yes, J, although not flying my the seat of our pants like some of our UK trip, it’ll still be as exciting!
cruising isn’t really my thing although you picked a good time of year to travel. I personally prefer spring or fall myself where the temps are milder, more comfortable and easier to figure out the wardrobe. I’ve done europe several times, but I thinking next time it’ll be someplace like Quadras Island as I haven’t been there yet but I’ve heard that it is pretty good, and the lodge is luxury.
