Here’s how it works:

The Hunchback dvd

I’ll start!

  • Heidi says:

Answer: I love the Spring! (late spring, though, when the flowers are out, and it’s not raining as much) It’s the romantic time of the year, and the days are getting longer.

Question: What was the last movie in the theatre that you saw?

  • Patricia says:

    A. Mischief Night – a british film which took place in Leeds. The majority of the characters’ethnic background was Pakistani so the soundtrack was extra cool.

    B. What song is stuck in your head “RIGHT NOW!!!”?

  • Beth says:

    A. I didn’t have one stuck in head until I read that question, but immediately I thought of the song in the Mini Wheats commercials (mini mini mini mini mini wheats!), as that is the song that most often gets stuck in my brain! And now it’s stuck there again!

    Q. Where was the last place you went on vacation?

  • Peter says:

Answer: Europe! The company I work for is based in Norway, so on my way to their annual conference, I got to piggyback my first Eurotrip. I stuck to Paris, Nice, and London but had tons of fun!

Question: Why did you start reading NetChick’s blog?

  • Tawcan says:

A: When internet first came out. I kid I kid. Maybe a few months ago? Can’t remember.

Q: What is your plan this weekeend? Are you planning to attend any remembrance day ceremony?

  • A: I’m going to be getting ready for my quickly-approaching trip, as well as meeting a cousin for the very first time, ever… More on this to be blogged about soon.

Q: Have you ever done a herbal cleanse?

  • donna says:

    A. No. I had someone once offer to detoxify me with aromatherapy… but I’m convinced that the toxins are actually what holds me together, and without them, I’d simply melt Wicked-Witch style.

I’ve got a cousin who’s very into the herbal stuff and gave me cow colostrum pills for christmas one year. Yeah, um. No. (If you don’t know what colostrum is… google it.) :)

I’m making efforts to be healthier in many ways… but “cleanses” or other types of “are you kidding me?” type remedies will stay very far off my menu. :)

    Q. Ninjas or Pirates, and why?

  • LOL Donna! Too funny!

A: Pirates all the way — They are bad boys with a little chivalry on the side (not so much, but I do like the ARRR! Talk-like-a-Pirate day)

Q: Do you eat mainly organic?

  • Russ says:

a: I eat what tastes good as long as there is no added sugar. I am fussy about my meat products… a little scared of the steroids they feed chickens and cows these days.

q: What was you last totally selfless act and what influnced you?

  • Raul says:

I blogged about the Tabasco floods (in Mexico) and asked for help. Contacted the Mexican Consulate in Vancouver to try and find out what was being set up in way of help. What influenced me? It pains me to see people suffer, and in particular, Mexican people!

    Q. Have you ever been in a situationship? How did you end it (or what have you done with it)

(check my blog for that definition)

  • donna says:

A: I think I’m in one now. And trying to gracefully extract myself, because I’m fed up and simply don’t have the patience for bullshit.

Of course, I have the grace of a gnat, so my current method is to simply roll my eyes and wait for the problem to go away on its own. (Guess how well THAT’S working?)

Q: You’re digging a hole to China. Where do you start?

  • A: Hmmm… I’d probably save myself the work, and just fly there ;)

Q: Where’s your most-visited weekend get-away? Why do you go there?

  • Tawcan says:

A: For the last few months Squamish seems to be my most-visited weekend get-away. Go there b/c I could go rock climbing or camping.

Q: Winamp or Windows Media Player?

  • donna says:

Neither — VLC. WMP won’t run on my desktop (because I *cough* pirated the OS) and to be honest, it’s a cruddy program anyway, so I don’t use it on my (legitimate) laptop either. I quit using Winamp when the Terrible No Good Very Bad version 3 came out and made the baby jesus cry. I’m told it’s improved since then, but I’m still bitter.

VLC, on the other hand, is pretty good. I use it for videos (sadly, my iPod has forced me into the dregs of iTunes for my mp3s… and even more sadly, I like it) and it’s never let me down.

    Q. Do you reread books, or read them once and toss them?

  • Beth says:

    A. Depends on the book – for example, I’ve read each of the Harry Potter books countless times, and I’ve read the Hitchhiker’s “trilogy” more than once. Sometimes you find new things by reading the same book over and over again, especially in a series (like in the HP books, stuff comes up in subsequent books that makes things in earlier books significant). I’ve also read Stephen Hawking’s A Brief History of Time many times, mostly because I’m still trying to understand it!

    Q. Do you watch director’s commentaries on DVDs? If so, what’s the best one you’ve seen?

  • A: Not usually, but I have watched them on all LOTR movies, which I found really interesting. I also watched it after watching “Bladerunner” and “The Incredibles” — both were fantastic extras!

Q: Do you consider yourself to be very geeky? (in tech terms, of course!)

  • Russ says:

a: Depends. I don’t spend hours writing computer virus codes or anything like that, but I am pretty adept at programing vehicle electrical systems (multiplex logic) and I can fix my own computer F-ups.

q: Someone offers you cash to completely dis-associate your self from you current lifestyle and friends and move away. What would that amount have to be?

  • richgold says:

    A. $5. Mind you, that’s with taking the DH and child units. Beyond that, it would be soooo easy, especially if they paid the relocation costs.

    Q. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever given?

  • Bob says:

    A. Don’t eat that

    Q. What’s the difference between an orange?
