It's the MID-WEEK Socializing Game!
Hey guys! It’s that time of the week, again… Time to socialize on the fly! (And, I’ll have one of those shots in the photo, please!)
Here’s how it works:
I’ll start with a question, and the first person answers my question, and then asks a different question for the next person in the same comment.
I’ll start!
Have you found anyone significant on Facebook or other online social media platform? Fast Times at Ridgemont High full movie

First of all, wow on the story below! Neato!
A: I found my ex-girlfriend from high school on Facebook last year. We’re still in touch, and friends. (both of us are married)
Q: Do you use your camera on your cellphone?
A – No not usually. My camera on my LG takes the lousiest photos! I wish they’d put a flash on these phones.
Q – Have you ever been to dinner theatre, or audience participation dinners? (Like Toni & Tina’s Wedding in Vancouver?)
Wow, Jason, I can’t believe you said “neato” LOL!! Thanks, it’s been a dream story!
A: No, I haven’t (other than this dinner thing in PoCo that was actually kind of fun) I really want to get to “Toni and Tina’s Wedding” sometime though. I wonder if it’s still playing?
Q: Do you have any big plans for this weekend?
Big plans? Yeah: moving, moving, moving. Check out my blog for more details.
P.S. Congrats on finding your family members.
Crap, forgot to add my question: Most people want to leave Vancouver during our ugly Fall/Weather seasons. Where do *you* want to go this winter?
A. New Zealand.
B. Name one thing you’ve learned today so far.
A: I learned that I’d LOVE to go on vacation, err… TOMORROW! Thankfully, I will be going in a few days. (The diesel fumes in my office is absolutely horrendous from the workers taking out an old fuel tank from the basement of the building.)
ps: Hi K
Glad to see you here! (and Agasel, too… It’s been a while!)
Q: What’s your worst habit?
A: The extremely loud music I play on a regular basis.
Kidding… !
I dunno, nailbiting?
Q: Tea or coffee?
A: Coffe in the AM and Tea in the PM. But only Earl Gray please, none of that fancy schmancy stuff for me. I’m a traditional tea drinker!
Q: How do you deal with work stress?
A: I go to the gym.
Q: What kind of digital camera do you have?
A: I’ve got a Canon Rebel XTi… Which is my baby!! But, I also want to get a smaller Canon before I leave on my trip, because I gave my old one to Faye for her awesome African adventure last month.
Q: What’s your least favourite food?
A: Chinese food, in general (I make a horrible date when I’m invited to just watch movies on the couch – because EVERYONE and their mother are used to ‘ordering in Chinese’). But the surprising thing is that I do love some specific items. For example, my friend Bonnie makes THE ABSOLUTE BEST eggplant hot pot. And that, I will eat with lots of sticky rice. I also hate dim-sum. And finally, of course, cheese. But every one of my friends knows I hate cheese. It has even become the deal-breaker for my friends. If they don’t know/remember I hate cheese, then they are in the doghouse! LOL
Q. If you could change something about yourself, what would it be (cosmetic surgery excluded)?
whoa.. Raul, you were up late last night!!
There are a lot of things other people would tell me I should change, but I am very happy with who I am. So the answer? Nothing!
Q: Sports. Player or Spectator? And what sport?
T… I am so happy for you with your new discovery on your “roots”. What awesome feelings you must have had running through you!!!! Thank you for sharing with us!
Thanks Rick
A: Both — Probably Rowing or Kayaking for participating, and definitely hockey for viewing!
Q: Are you a clean freak, or cluttered and messy in your home?
A: Cluttered in my own areas, tidy in shared areas. My desk especially will always be covered in crap, it’s just the way it’s going to be. I’ll never be accused of being a clean freak, but I dislike grime, especially in shared areas. Pisses me off.
Q. What’s your number one tool for organizing things?
A. Garbage can!!!
Q. What is the best bottle of red wine you have ever purchased for under 15 bucks?
a: I hate to answer this because I’m not really a wine drinker. I can, however, pick the perfect beer for any meal or event…
Anyway, I do drink Merlot and I like Clous du Bois. None of you better laugh at my wine preference!!!
Q: Sports model or sensible sedan?
A: Nooooo question… I’m a sport car FANATIC. (God I miss my SC400!!!) My next car, (if I buy an older one) will hopefully be either a Z4, or a TT…
Q: What’s your next “COOL” toy gonna be?
A: well, I’ve suddenly developed a hankering for online games — no idea where that came from – I was lousy at Tetris and PacMan back in the dark ages when I last tried. But I’m asking for some for xmas gifts this year.
Q: doggy clothes. Cute or ridiculous?
a. A little bit of both, mostly depending on the dog. Pocket dogs with sparkly pink sweaters? Ridiculous. Also, occasionally useful, for dogs with thin fur. We had useful sweaters for our miniature dashchunds, because they just got too cold. That said, my dog? Does not need clothes. She’s just fine nekkid.
Q. What’s a good book you’ve read recently?
A. I’m currently reading the bio by Frank O’Dea called “When all you have is hope”. I’m about half way through now. It’s pretty good/interesting story about his life and the start up of Second Cup coffee shops.
Other then that, I’ve been reading cook books – vegetarian ones, to try to figure out how to cut the family’s grocery bill a bit, and still have interesting food, and my 1954 Betty Crocker. It’s still the best for pictures.
Q. I just bought a s**t load of bananas. Besides banana bread, do you have a recipe that uses a lot of them?
A. hmm… i don’t have a recipe, but i sure do love banana cream pie!
Q. if you could go back in time and change ONE thing you did in your life, what would it be?
A. I would have stayed with guitar lessons forever.
Q. How willyou spend the upcoming Holidays?
Tanya,
I think I have already congratulated you on finding family members on Facebook, but if I haven’t, congratulations!!!
Ok, now here I go…
A.- I will spend most of December in Mexico with family, and enjoying a warmer and more dry climate. YAY!
Q.- Give me a recipe for dinner for two that doesn’t involve any cheese in it.
