Surviving.
I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind words during this horrific time for me. All of your thoughts have touched me deeply, and I know my Dad is with me during this cruise.
I’m so thankful for wonderful friends and family like you all.
We’re off to Florence, Italy tomorrow… A place I’m very much looking forward to seeing again.

The winter season has hit us here in Eastern Ontario. As I write this, we’re having -21 (with wind chill) weather. Wahoo.
Thanks to Meg Fowler over at megfowler.com, I actually got into the decorative mood early. (Usually I wouldn’t touch a decoration before the first weekend in December, if not later.)
The lights are out, several winter scenes are set up on the lawn. I actually wrapped all the boxes destined for the States last night while watching the finale of Dancing with the Stars.
Oh, and I got my first Christmas card yesterday. I guess that means I can start to send out mine. (Again, I’m VERY early for this. Usually I send out new years cards!)
