Yes, that's right… It's time for FRIDAY SILLINESS!

Man, sorry guys. I’m *way* late on this today. I didn’t even get into the office until the afternoon today. I had a really bad headache, and elected to flop back into bed after calling into work.

Oh yes. Shawn loved me today. He was left all alone with the phones ringing off the hook, disasters occuring left and right. Oh, and he was hung over to boot.

So, despite my excruciating not-quite-a-migraine-headache, I got my sorry ass out of bed and went in to save Shawn from all that is bad in this world. That said… I wasn’t exactly in the best of moods. Communicate? Give feedback on design? Bah. It’s overrated.

Needless to say, Shawn left for home not long after. I don’t blame him — I wouldn’t have wanted to spend an entire afternoon with me either. Except for that little fact that I am me. It actually did suck.

So, now that I’m in a better mood, and my headache is now only a nagging thump, I thought I’d bring us all some comedy relief. Man, I love this find…

This is episode 1! I’ll be peppering this blog with more of these as the weeks go by… So, don’t ruin the surprise and hunt them out! LOL…

What are you looking forward to this fine weekend?

September Dawn ipod Me? I’m going to install ICUII 8 tonight on my computer (I gave one of my new [sorry, that's not a great term is it? -- How better to put that? Um. The cousin that I met recently... Dennis, who was the first contact on Facebook] a copy for Christmas this year, so that we can all connect via videophone since everyone except my one female cousin lives in Alberta). Err, don’t mind that run-on sentence. Oh well. You get the point. I’m installing video software! And, I must add, this is the same video software that I met Michael on 10 years ago yesterday (Happy Friend-aversary, guy… Here’s to a 100 more!) and also Anders a little bit before Michael, who I met for the first time in person almost two years ago now when I travelled to Sweden.

Tomorrow morning, I’m off to breakfast with a friend, and then running around doing some Christmas shopping (only for the kids, really — the majority of my holiday budget is actually being donated to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of my Dad) and to pick up some last minute things before cutting Vern’s hair, and then heading over to Cin’s. (I can’t believe after years of knowing her and Paul, I’ve *never* seen their place. Silliness!) We’ll then be walking over to Vern’s to *break* in his new home, and then finally heading out to “Shapeshifters” afterwards. I’m sure it’ll be a great night. I might even take photos. Heh.

And Sunday afternoon, I’m heading out with some friends to see the Bach Choir at the Orpheum. I’m sure it’ll be a delightful day. And, hey, maybe, just maybe, I might actually feel some of the Christmas spirit everyone’s been going on about.

All-in-all, a great weekend to look forward to!!!Appaloosa movie

All the kids are home this weekend. We’re putting the tree together. My MIL is here from Alberta so the Christmas baking can start. We’re also expecting a big snow storm. I’m hoping it lasts so long on Monday that it’s enough to close schools!!

  • ENJOYED STOPPING BY!!!!

    Good Morning

Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it’s enough to know they are just standing by.
