The stream of bad luck continues…
Let’s see… My weekend consisted of being sick with a bad cold, working for hours and hours on Saturday, missing out on a house party (Dammit! Sorry Miranda & Reilly & crew, I really wanted to be there on Saturday night) because the cold meds I took to relieve my misery only made me feel completely lethargic, and even knocked me out, and then working most of the day on Sunday, running out for a quick movie with Vern (my only happy time the entire weekend), and then pulling an all-nighter last night to make sure I could populate the site I’ve been working on for ages, this morning.
Except, this morning, the car died on the way to work.
I *really* am trying to visualize good things in my life. Really.
I was so tired this morning that my patience was completely gone when I called Vern to let him know the car we shared was foobar’d. I asked him to call a tow truck, while I waited in the car, because it was literally in the middle of the road. Thankfully, it was close to work, and I managed to limp it to a dead end, but, still… It was in the middle of the road, sideways.
Finally, Vern called, and the truck arrived. So, rather than being 45 minutes early for work, I was an hour late.
It’s almost laughable, my horrible luck of late. I know it can’t last, but I also am so tired of this.
And, I haven’t even shared some of the more horrible things that have gone on, lately (because they are of a financial nature, and not for public consumption) but, needless to say, I’ve been SO STRESSED OUT. To say I’m not happy with that particular nightmare, is an incredible understatement. My only hope is that the worst is behind me with this issue, and the wrongs that have been done will soon be turned around in my favour.
But, hopefully this afternoon, when I take the skytrain (blech) to Burnaby to go to Global TV, my luck will turn around, and they’ll believe that I really am a great candidate to be picked for the final four Fitness Fantasy Challenge. Everyone send me good vibes around 1pm!
I’d better get back to work… I’m. So. Tired. I hope everyone else’s Monday was better than mine to start with! Did you have a good weekend?

Sending you positive vibes!
As for the weekend – mine was awesome, I have to admit. Dinner with friends on Friday and Saturday, a wedding and dinner at Arms Reach Bistro on Sunday.
Much love, Tanya!

you need chocolate, bad!
Sending you wishes for a Masseuse to stop over and perform a hot oil body massage to ease away tension while wishing you Good Vibes ASAP!!!!
There was DEFINITELY something in the air this past week, Tanya. OK, misery doesn’t really love company, but I’ll share anyway! I threw my back out last week… but it’s better now. LG got the flu this weekend, and I slept on the couch with my bad back so I wouldn’t get his damn flu! I’m going to a friends’ father’s funeral tomorrow.
Now, I figure that by the time I get home from the funeral in the afternoon, the tide is gonna change. I’ll be thinking of YOU tomorrow and sending you strong, happy vibes! YEAH!!! IT’S A NEW WEEK. xo

Hey T – please take this as a friendly offer, not a pitch – if you ever want a great latte and a comp. one-off to talk about the financial stuff, it’s what I do for a living with lots, and lots, of people. No sales. Just some ideas/strategies if i have some to offer for your particular situation.
Thanks guys… Your words mean a lot. LGOE? I totally agree — There’s something in the air. But, I’ve just ordered a large fan to blow it all out
Nancy — Thank you! I’d really appreciate that. These next two weeks are ridiculously busy, but after that, (and once I know what I’ll be paying in my new place) I’d love to take you up on that offer.
I’ll email you!
