Aw, bummer!
I just got an email from Global TV… As I suspected, I wasn’t chosen as a finalist. 
Oh well — I’m definitely motivated to get fit, so I’ll be taking the challenge on my own, anyhow. Now, I’ll just make *sure* that the new home I choose will have a really good gym as a part of the amenities. Hopefully, I’ll find a building with a pool as well, as my lifeguard background (seems like a different life, now) has shown me that swimming really gets me healthy fast.
On a separate, more positive, and slightly drunken note… 
Miranda and Reilly have 3 extra tickets for the Vancouver Winefest this Friday! Vern and I will be joining them again this year… Does anyone want to come and have fun with us? They are $75 ea, and for the Friday night… Don’t miss out! The tickets are now sold!

I will see you at the wine fest. I decided to volunteer this year because I had a lot of fun the last time I did that so as a bonus I get a free ticket to the wine fest and I got to see a free play with other volunteers.
SO Friday I drink, and Sat all day starting at 10 am I volunteer. gee, Sat is going to be fun huh?
