The weekend round-up…

This weekend was *too short* — It feels like my weekends are flying by, these days! Does that feel the same way for you?

As mentioned below, Friday night was a success… And I was up WAY too early on Saturday morning. 5:30am to be exact. But, that had it’s own consequences, because by Saturday afternoon, after the house work at my new home, I had a headache enough to cancel the clean-up at the new place, and postpone Al to Sunday.

I think my allergies are finally starting to wreak havok on my life. They’ve never done that before. Weird.

Sunday was nice — Again, up early… And this time with the crack of dawn, I was ready to take on all the chores that had been missed the day before, as well as get some cleaning done at the old place (blech!), catch up with Al for a glass of wine (yes, I’m enjoying wine again in moderation — I’ve got a new plan that’s working better for my lifestyle that I’ll be blogging about in a few days), and enjoyed a really nice Italian dinner with Corinna in Yaletown.

So, all-in-all, a really nice weekend… I hope yours was great, too?Multiplicity full movie

My sucked. Woke up at 5 AM Sat morning feeling sick. Thinking that my body is trying to tell me something I bailed on my backcountry trip and spent the entire weekend at home recovering.

  • Oh no! That totally sucks. :( I hope you are feeling better soon! I’m feeling like death this morning myself.

  • My weekend… Hmmmm. I watched a film festival Friday night. My friend’s film, One Thousand Stories, won best picture (and a Wii!) Saturday was spent writing for a client and dealing with some unexpected MS Word compatibility issues.

Sunday I watched two movies with Sherry and didn’t even leave the house. Also, I battled the Mongols in Rise of Nations and kicked their butts with my outstanding navy (well, the Golden Horde never really was that terrifying off land).

All in all, an outstanding, if sort of nerdy, kind of weekend. Cheers!

i hear that the pollen count is 5 times greater than it was last year which might… you know… explain the whole allergy thing…

My weekend was awesome. Met my friend SF for coffee, then took Friday evening off. Slept halfway through Saturday. Worked until 7.30pm then went to a great party. Sunday I woke up at 12.45. Worked until 4 pm then went for dinner to The Red Onion and then watched a movie (both with an awesome friend of mine). Went to bed at 3:00am but finally submitted a paper (Yay me!) and this morning and afternoon have been mixed, but I’m surviving :) – I do have a lot of work to do, though!

I am hoping you feel better :) Sending you lots of love and positive vibes!
