Crap. I did it again.
Granted, I do need to make some changes in my life, *again*. But, I got myself into such a tizzy the other night — I called up anyone who would listen to me grumble. And then, I looked at the calendar today.
For F* sake. Why do I do this? Every three months, when my Depo Provera shot runs out, suddenly my life is hell and everything must change.
Except at the time, I don’t recognize the timing of it all. Life just seems like complete shite.
Man, hormones are really, really nasty. I know I should stop using Depo — it’s not like I have a boyfriend, so seriously, why have I been injecting high levels of Progesterone hormone for the past year and a half into myself? Well, there’s two answers for that, really. First off… Going on and off Depo is a real nightmare as any girl who’s gone through it will tell you, and also, I love not having a cycle (over 7 years now). Well, a cycle that happens every month, with all the pain and yuckyness that comes along with it.
Sorry guys. I just realized that I should have put a disclaimer at the top of this post.
Anyhow. I just wanted to thank my friends, once again. You’ve all been my rock.
I really do need to get back into a relationship soon, and take the heat off of you guys.
So anyhow… What are you looking forward to, this weekend?
Me? Hmmm. I might go to Granville Island tonight to have drinks with a group of people I don’t know at all (well, I’ve met the one guy who organizes it in passing on the street with Monica) — Sink or swim, baby, sink or swim… Tomorrow morning, my step-Mom is coming out to see the new place, and our plan is to take the water taxi over to Granville Island for a few hours. (See a theme forming here?) And, Sunday, I don’t yet have plans. Hmmm. If you want to catch up with me on Sunday (or Saturday night), drop me a line! I promise that my Depo situation will be over by then!
Have a great weekend, everyone!

Cheer up Tanya. Spending Friday night at Granville Island sounds like a really good idea. Maybe you can go to Granville Island again on Sun hehe.
Me? The plan is to spend the weekend in Squamish learning various forms of rock climbing (rescue, traditional climb). My tailbone is still quite sore so I’ll be taking it easy and probably spend most of the time learning instead of climbing. Hopefully the weather will hold up. Finger crossed.

Nah, I think I’ll avoid Granville Island on Sunday! hehe. Be careful with your butt! Ouch. I bet it’s still hurting… That was quite a fall.
Hello, Tanya, Michele sent me to say – I remember those days well and what a “*itch” I would become.
Oh, I loved going to Granville Island when I was visiting Vancouver. I really need to get back there again…
This week-end I am going to get a manicure and go to church, relax, knit, and read. The going out is dependent on how I feel come tomorrow morning!!!

Sorry to hear your feeling out of sorts. Very low key weekend. Planning on hitting the A&N shoe sale on my way home from work today. Get together with friends for dinner Saturday night and take in the “Green Living Show” at Canada Place either Saturday or Sunday during the day. Have a great weekend.
I have to work waaaa….
Otherwise I think I might go to see the Dutch film BenX, it’s about a videogamer (I thought you might like that one, I’ll let you know if it’s any good).
Awww Tanya, I am SO sorry to hear that you had a rough time (caught on to that on Twitter too). I hope you DO know that if you need me, I will be there for you. SERIOUSLY.
XOXO
