UH?
What the… F* is wrong with all the social networking platforms tonight?
I’d hoped that when I got home from my busy early evening, that I’d be able to log into Facebook, or even Twitter (ya, sorry kids, I haven’t been there much) and catch up with the gang.
But, hell. I can’t get into any of the systems.
Is it just me? Am I going mad? …It’s been known to happen.
UPDATE: Okay, Twitter is back up. And, because of the power of Twitter friends, I’m now off to meet the gang for a drink!
UPDATE: 2 (12:35pm) Okay, so I decide to make my way home from the pub we we’d all had a few fun drinks at.
Except. One Night at McCools dvd Brideshead Revisited The F’n Vancouver City Cops decided I’d crossed their crime line Cheech & Chongs The Corsican Brothers ipod The Pianist trailer
somehow on my way home. So, the cops just HAD to detain me. Good GOD. Put up a proper police line, and I would have WALKED 3 blocks around the “crime scene” with the “dead body”. Seriously. Get a grip. Assholes. They made me bloody well wait another 45 minutes, and then,
said I’d need to go to the station because apparently I crossed their invisible F’N line, just trying to go home. Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby trailer
The Vancouver City F’N Police can kiss my (entire) ass. I have all sorts of respect for every other (okay, maybe not New Westminster) police force, but the VPD so….. SO SO crossed the line tonight. Making me wait an hour, until I disputed the whole issue, at which time they simply asked for my mother’s maiden name and then let me go… UH. WTF.
Don’t even get me started with mine and my friends previous issues with the VPD. God forbid you won’t put up with their crap. (My impatience with them, after over 45 minutes almost got me arrested.) I guess my saying “Uh, I don’t give a crap, I didn’t MURDER the BODY that you’re currently investigating – I’m leaving.” finally made them realize how stupid the whole situation was. [shaking my head] Stop harassing innocent people… VPD, you morons .

Yeah I noticed the same thing. I did get into facebook but it wouldn’t let me logout properly! I thought it was my computer which is running like majorly slow….
Yikes! That’s horrible. Sorry to hear about the crappy ending to your night. The VPD have certainly never won any brownie points with me either. Even the security ‘rent a cops’ in this town are terrible.

Hey P… Ya that was annoying!
Rebecca, the evening was awesome! Thanks so much for including me — I had a great time! The VPD afterwards, not so much. I was absolutely steaming mad by the time I said, fine, you know what? You can’t keep me here. I know my rights. I guess shit happens. They’re jerks.
UGH that is harsh news indeed. I just live down the street on Drake and Richards and didn’t hear a damn thing last night. I guess I was just so tired and asleep when it happened.
But I agree with you, put up the proper police line and no one will cross it. DWEEBS.

Wow Gus. I can almost see your place from mine, then… Actually, maybe I actually can. I can see Shoppers, and the Cecil from my place! Too funny!
Ouch, that sucks
Sorry to hear that they detained you! They should have been more careful, perhaps
