Well, no wonder… Stupid Mercury.
Mercury is in retrograde from today (May 27) until June 19.
Everything happened at once, this afternoon. …One stupid f’n situation after another. At one point, I just wanted to scream…
Man.
I really don’t put much stock into astrology, but why is it that when I have a particularly bad day, communication-wise, I find out that Mercury is messing with my life? Maybe there’s something to that.
According to one website that explains this astrological influence:

Where I work they are really into the whole ‘Mercury in retrograde’ thing… I don’t know if I believe in it really. I do find astrology interesting though, on some level, but at the same time I think it’s kinda hokey. That’s the skeptic in me.

Wow, I just enrolled in a course today. Woe is me.
I didn’t know there were “Mercurian items”. I otherwise would never have grouped cars, books and mobile phones together, beyond an umbrella category like “stuff not available to the caveman”.
I don’t do the astrology thing, mostly because I worry enough without getting advance warning about what’s going to suck in my life. Although I do like being a “fire sign” because that sounds real sexy.
I’m with Gillian (and Gillian, that’s the same reason I don’t go to fortune tellers etc.)
