  • Average Jane says:

My sign is Cancer. However, as the newspapers put it, I think astrology is “for entertainment purposes only.”

Here’s my (double) question: Do you believe in ghosts? Have you ever seen one?

Average Jane’s last blog post: Average Jane Likes Twitter

  • Hey Jane, great question…

A: This is a tough one to answer. Sort of? I would have said unequivacably no until late November last year when my Dad passed away. Some strange things, very strange things, happened on the cruise ship within 15 minutes of my Dad’s passing. I knew right away. It’s a long story, but a friend witnessed it — It was the strangest thing. So, I guess I’d say yes, but not in the true sense of the word “ghost”.

Q: (continuing on with the theme that Jane created… :) ) What was your last TXT msg that you sent out? Was it funny?

  • Gus says:

Hmmm my last text message wasn’t funny but it was announcing that I bought a floor ticket to the Madonna concert in Vancouver. It might be funny because I had already bought a ticket in another section. :)

Question: Now that the warm weather is here, where is your favourite outdoor patio in the city?

Gus’s last blog post: Frolf Anyone?

  • A: my fave patio isn’t a full on patio – its a few humble chairs outside a tiny cafe on carrall street, called “Blackwater”. I love it because IN the chairs are some of the true characters of Vancouver.

B: Idealist? or Realist? (ie. are you an…)

  • Jeremy says:

A: Realist. At least most of the time.

Q: What’s the last song you heard that moved you?

  • Tasha says:

a: Jewel, near you always, acoustic, amazing song on the power of love (i won’t put the britney spears song that moved me to dance on the bus…)

q: what is your most common daydream?

  • Raul says:

A.- Usually, and this comes from a pretty social and extroverted person, I day dream about solitude and reflection. Usually I visualize myself overlooking the water from Lonsdale Quay.

Q.- Back to Tanya’s theme of astrological signs, I’m a Virgo – do you know which signs you are NOT supposed to date?

Raul’s last blog post: Fainting, migraines and other stuff – An unusual evening for me

  • Tawcan says:

A: I actually have to look up to realize that I’m a Libra so that’d be a big NO. Accordingly to Wikipedia I’m most compatible with Aquarius, Gemin, and Libra but didn’t say anything about which signs I’m not suppose to date.

Q: Do you typically listen to the radio or CD/iPod? If the radio, which station do you listen to?

Tawcan’s last blog post: My first time & second time

  • A: If I’m in the car, I’ll listen to the radio (I am not loyal radio, though, so I listen to all the main stations in Vancouver, including CKNW because I’m a news freak)

When I’m working out without a trainer, I listen to my iPhone, though.

Q: Do you take daily supplements?

  • Pearl says:

    Yes, vitamins and glucosamine.

What’s your sign reminds me of someone who tried to date me once, asking my sign, my favorite kind of flowers, whether I liked movie XYZ and I never guessed this could be anything but random trivia questions. aye me.

What’s the best thing to do when your brain is “full”?

Pearl’s last blog post: Support for the First Nations

  • A: I meditate. Love that… Works every time! :D

Q: What did you have for dinner, tonight?

  • boy, i haven’t done this in ages! great to come back here …:)

A: an assortment of this’s and that’s. got really hungry on the bus so finished the handful of pretzels i had with me. at home, still hungry, ate the rest of the broccoli from yesterday. nobody else needed dinner so later on i had two slices of bread, one with jam, one with honey, two cubes of chicken in mushroom sauce, and i also gnawed a bit on my daughter’s church’s chicken. and no, i don’t usually eat dinner like that :)

    B: what’s your favourite flower?
