Want to make $200?
Hi guys… This quick post is brought to you by the letter “I”, as in “Iritis”. I’m currently sitting in front of my computer to briefly get this post out while squinting with one eye. Iritis is not my friend.
To be brief, then, on to the deal…
I’ve got a 2.5 year cell contract with Rogers. It’s a great plan, but because I jumped the gun and signed a three year contract with them earlier this year after jumping from Telus so I could use my first gen iPhone, I’ve now recently learned that I cannot obtain the new phone for another 7 months.
Um. That just won’t do.
So, rather than paying the buy-out to Rogers, I thought I’d offer up my plan to anyone who’s currently month-to-month, or on another carrier without a plan, and would like to take over my contract: I’ll pay you $200 cash!
The current plan is awesome, but it can be changed to any plan you like…
– 450 anytime minutes
– unlimited incoming minutes are free anytime
– 100 Canadian long distance minutes
– unlimited on-device surfing
– unlimited incoming, 2500 outgoing text msgs
– unlimited evenings and weekends
– two way video calling (you can take this feature off separately, it’s only $7)
– voicemail / who called / caller id etc.
I can’t remember exactly what I pay, but you can’t get this plan at most retailers. But, like I said, you certainly don’t have to take over this plan, if you’d prefer something smaller or bigger.
So, who wants to make $200? I’d rather give it to you, then pay Rogers for nothing. Back to Gaya trailer
, or drop me a comment! I can be a little flexible on the cash I’ll pay, but it’s first come, first gets (once you are approved by Rogers), and offer ends on July 9th.

Is it wrong that I whispered “karma” to myself after you ditched you iPhone right before announce?
Seriously, this sucks. Actually, check that – Rogers sucks. SOooooo looking forward to joining them on July 11. *le sigh*
Heheh… Actually, even if I give someone $200 (rather than giving free money to Rogers), I’m still ahead with the deal, if you consider what I paid, vs. what I sold it for.
But ya, I can’t wait for the competition in the GSM area in a few years time.
