I think my favourite moment has to be watching Simon Whitfield coming back from 6th and taking silver in the mens triathlon.
Q: What was your least favourite moment during the 2008 Olympics?

I’d have to say that would be finding out they pulled that little girl because she wasn’t pretty enough. That’s terrible. Left a bad taste in my mouth.
Q: Did you watch most of the competitions?
I did not watch one instant of the competitions except when they were in my line of sight on the TVs at various restaurants and bars.
Q: What Olympic competition is the silliest?

A: Rhythmic gymnastics … I just don’t get it. *shakes head*
Q: Do you plan on attending any of the olympic events at Vancouver 2010?

A: Um. No. I really don’t. I do play to go out on dates with Olympic athletes, though
Q: What do you think of the fact that Matthew Mitcham (the new Olympic men’s 10m platform diving champion) was the ONLY out, openly gay Olympic at the 2008 Olympics? What does it say about the state of equality and openness with organized sports?

A: I think that’s crazy. It makes me sad that in this day and age, more people don’t feel that they can come out. But, then again, I don’t come out and say I’m hetrosexual, either. So, perhaps that’s not the banner they want to fly.
Q: What’s your favourite sport to watch on tv?
A: Soccer (aka football in rest of world). All those strong, fit men in shorts, running around for 45 minutes at a time… I mean, I like the athleticism and sportsmanship, of course.
Q: If there were one sport you could remove from ever appearing on TV again, what would it be?
A: Hmm, tough one. I don’t really watch many sports on tv, but I guess I’d have to say Golf… Wow, is that ever boring and drawn out. I really don’t understand why people sit for hours on the couch and watch that!
Q: Have you participated in a team sport for a significant period of time? What was it, and do you still participate in it?
