Wow, that's a lot of food!

Holy. That’s a heck of a lot of food for one month. But, I suspect, that’s been most of my problem all along — I don’t eat enough, or regularly enough, and my metabolism slows to a crawl. Let’s hope this change in my routine is enough for me to lose those stubborn 25 lbs. that I’ve been fighting with .

LOVE LOVE LOVE that you’re taking control and getting it all in order to start your training for Team D.

BUT .. one thing I gotta say about LA Weight Loss vs Nutrisystem is I get to eat fresh food. Vegetables from the market, fruit from the Okanagan, fish from the dock.

I get the convenience and ease of following a plan that supplies food, but I’m really digging the fresh approach of LA Weight Loss that acts as a nutrition guide and lets me still cook my own food.

Those are my thoughts, I’m cheering for you to drop the 25 and run your (lighter) ass off in Disney World. I’ve already shed over 10 with LAWL and the training is soooo much easier and invigorating!

    Go Tanya!!

That is a lot of food. Not sure how healthy those pre-packaged food are for you…pretty sure you’re better off eating fresh produce and food.

I’m curious – does the Nutrisystem plan provide you with a summary of how much of each nutrient you are getting each day? I’m not overly familiar with what Nutrisystem actually consists of, but I am interested as a nutritional scientist!

  • Hey guys – The plan is based around the glycemic index diet with options for men, women, and diabetics. Typical daily calorie amounts will vary from 1200 to 1500, and each days food consists of 3 meals and 2 snacks. The macro-nutrient ratios are approximately 55% carbohydrates, 25% protein and 20% fats. Checking the packaging, it looks like most of the nutritional needs are covered, and I also take a multi-vitamin just to be sure.

I’m also eating fresh fruit and veggies on this — Not only packaged food.
