John Chow twittered a couple of hours ago, asking how much I needed to make my pledge goal of $4500 for Team Diabetes.

I thought… Maybe he’ll help me spread the word? That would be totally awesome if he did.
Because, quite frankly, I’ve been stressing about how to get to that last hurdle…
What did John goal ii living the dream divx download
magicians movie do?
He just donated $1300 to push me to the finish line. John, you are my hero. Thank you SO, SO much!!!!
I’ll still be collecting pledges for my half marathon in January
, and, because of John’s incredible generousity, I’ll be drawing for the $500 cash giveaway on December 1st, as promised. Oh, and John… By my calculation, you will be getting 52 entries into that draw!
It looks like this World Diabetes Day got a lot of support and publicity… I know all of us who have contributed in some way, have really made a difference to all those that have to suffer daily with this horrible disease. Thank you all, for all the support I received so far!

What a generous man you are John Chow! I wish I was in a position to help you out more then I already did T. This cause hits close to home for me as my 28 year old niece was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes 2 years ago. She just got approved for and received an insulin pump 2 months ago. She so badly wants to start a family but must have her blood sugar levels stabilized for this to happen, hence the insulin pump. It would have cost her $6000-$7000 if medical had not have covered it. Hats off to you T for investing your efforts in such a worthwhile cause.

Wow, that is just awesome. Times are tough for me just now financially so though I really wish I could have donated some money toward this, I can’t just now.
But I do want to say thanks for what you are doing Tanya. My brother passed away in January from the complications associated with type I diabetes. He was way too young and I miss him every day. I just really love how you are stepping up in this way as is John to help those with Diabetes. You two rock!

Hey Tanya,
Please call me at 604-781-1280 as I’m interested in making a donation to your cause but I wanted to know more about the run you’re doing as I don’t recall all the details at the moment.
It’s great what John Chow did and I’m sorry I wasn’t able to attend your event last night to see you and meet him!
Talk to you soon,
Frances
