I'm a glutton for punishment…
Chalk it up to the time of year… Or, the fact that I’m poised to go to 2 separate New Years celebrations, both containing primarily couples.
Either way, I re-activated my online dating profile tonight.
Yep, that sounds like a special-kind-of-kind of crazy I know. …Because it sounds crazy to me, too.
But, I live in Vancouver. And, despite being to over 2 dozen Christmas and Holiday gatherings over the past month, I can say, not one legitimate prospect made themselves known.
And, I can say, in *any* other city I’ve ever spent time in, I’ve never had this problem.
I know it’s not me, now.
So, “online dating profiles” will continue to be a part of my life, despite my every effort to eliminate them.
It’s all good.
Oh, and if your second cousin, once-removed needs a date to his New Years celebration (provided he is willing to join me to my pre-set parties that night) — Drop me a line. Better yet, tell him “to drop the Vancouverite persona, and drop me a line, himself”

LOL – at least you have a bit of a sense of humour about it all … good luck!

Best of luck, Tanya. I hope you find someone soon.

@TheQuack – If I weren’t laughing so hard, I’d be crying…
@Judy – Thanks! I guess it’ll happen the way it’s supposed to. Patience isn’t my strongest suit, so thankfully, it’s not a big deal to me if I find someone or not. I just think I should be open to it. We’ll see how it goes!
