Not 1, not even 2… but…
THREE road blocks! I had to drive through 3 distinct checks tonight… And for that, I’m totally thankful.
I just got home, and called Jason and Zoe to let them know I got here safely despite the snow falling (again).

Went to a party 1/4 mile away. No road blocks! Watched Bill & Ted’s Excellent adventure with the kids after the ball dropped. Toasted in the New Year with white, sparkling grape juice; never had that before, have always had the real stuff. Slept like a rock. (Must have been the grape juice.)

@Carol – That’s the right way to go! I’ll def. take a taxi or walk next year so I don’t have to stay so late after working all day. I was SO tired when I got home, despite having an incredible evening. (felt like the walking dead when I hit the bed at 3am)
