Friday Silliness! (and bonus haggis)
Heheh… I hope you enjoyed that as much as I did!
What are you looking forward to, this weekend? I’m totally excited about the VIRGIN launch party tomorrow night — The lovely Christine won four tickets, and Buzz gave me 2 (thanks Buzz!), so there’s 6 of us heading over to Richards on Richards to see Katy Perry
with 300 other Virgin Radio fans! Should be a blast! I’ll post photos on Sunday, for sure!
Sunday, my friend Darren is coming over so that I can unlock his iPhone for him (finally… we’ve been waiting for a software unlock to come out for a while now), and then I’m heading over to his place to celebrate something to do with haggis? Oh, right… Robert Burn’s Day. Those Scots sure have a funny way of celebrating! It’s sure to be a lot of fun, despite the haggis.
Whatever you get up to, I hope it’s awesome!
ps: Don’t forget to come back and play the MEET n’ GREET this weekend! I love all the new faces in the mix — Let’s spread the word!

Tonight my husband and I are heading to a good friend’s place for a Rock Band get together and Japanese food.
Unfortunately I work on Saturdays, but Saturday evening my husband and I have scheduled a date night and we’re staying home to watch Condorman – one of my favourite cheesy movies from childhood. I’m sure there will be some wine and/or martinis involved too.
Sunday I’m taking part in the Investors Group Walk for Memories in White Rock in the afternoon and then heading to another friends for a weekly gaming session.
Mondays I don’t work, so it’s technically part of my weekend, I’ve booked off the entire day to work on the novel manuscript that I started during NaNoWriMo 2008 (well, I’ll still eat and do a quick workout in the morning, but no cleaning, no laundry, and I will refuse to answer the phone).

@Tyler – Have a great time at WCWhistler! Say hi to everyone for me!
@Jennifer – your Friday sounds lovely! If I would get off my butt and start dating again (see previous post on my stupid issues) I’d probably have a night like that tonight. Best of luck on your walk! That’s awesome… One day next weekend for me will be like your Monday
@TheQuack – Make no mistake… I won’t be “enjoying” any haggis
Yick! But, I will probably (uh, definitely) be partaking in the wine.
Good luck with your Haggis search!
@SleepyPete – Sounds like a perfect weekend! You’ll have to come back and let me know how Valkyrie was!
@Rashbre – How could I forget???! LOL…

This weekend, I’m off on a weekend-long journey of sorts. Mainly to take pictures and find inspiration for writing.
My weekend started Friday with my daughter and granddaughter when we settled into a hotel nearby to the hospital where my granddaughter went to have a c-section for her first child. Saturday her daughter was born healthy and beautiful as all newborn babies are.
Today I held her for the first time and it was wonderful I have five great grandchildren and seven grandchildren.
This truly was a blessed weekend..
