Carpet stains!
It’s about that time, again! I’m planning another Rock Band party at my place before I attempt to get the carpet any cleaner from the last mishap.
Vern didn’t disappoint at my last house party — spilling almost half a bottle of red wine on my white carpet, taking a new record of “single largest stain” at a Rock Band gathering. I tried everything could to get the stain out, but let’s face it: they’re white, CRAPPY cheap carpets, and they’re going to look like hell days after any carpet cleaning, anyhow. I know Vern felt really bad — it wasn’t like he chucked the glass at the floor on purpose. (At least, I hope he didn’t!?)
So — Who’s in? I want to have the gathering before I go away next month! I was thinking Friday, May 8th; or Saturday, May 9th.

You can use anything that doesn’t have bleach in it. Ammonia takes cleans and takes out odors very well and the ammonia smell is gone when the carpet dries.

wet the stain. (for the brave use white wine)
apply rock salt.
rub in rock salt.
hoover (vaccum) up rock salt
