I’m really happy
I had the most incredible weekend, ever…
The housewarming was exceptional — I’m so glad everyone had a great time. It was really great to see some friends that I haven’t seen in forever, as well as my Step Mom and her boyfriend coming to join in the excitement of it all, too!
It was a hot, sticky evening, and yet, with the cross breeze my place gets, it was still comfortable! I love living up that high…
Of course, there was spillage, but!!! I have hardwood, now! So, no more carpet stains to worry about — Man, I’ve missed having hardwood! Good times.

Hi. I’m glad you had such a great weekend. Mine was great too! On Saturday, my 9-yr-old son and I met up with a group of families by Commercial Drive and we biked to the Jazz Festival at David Lam Park. It felt safe and fun to be part of a little convoy – as we tried out the new bike signal lights along Great Northern Way and First Avenue, through the Olympic Village construction zone, past Science World, onto the seawall.
That same night we went to a 40th birthday party at a friend’s place on Burnaby Mountain in “Univer-City.” We ate and ate and talked and played with Odin the big German Shepherd who did tricks and practiced tai kwon do moves…. (some of us more than others) We even saw the Blaine “Fourth of July” fireworks…

I had a fantastic weekend, thanks! I went to a preview of “Moonshot” (about the Apollo 11 moon landing) and saw my favourite band in concert. So all in all, a wonderful weekend

Great weekend, but the 4th of July was a bummer. I tried to take pictures at a local parade but everyone kept yelling at me saying that I was in the way of their view no matter where I stood. I eventually gave up and took pictures elsewhere.

I had a great weekend, thank you. I actually took the stretch off and had five days off so it was really great. Played two rounds of golf, got pretty tuned up one night at some friends’ place, spent a day just chillin’ (sleeping off the aforementioned tune-up), spent some time with my nieces, went to the island for a small family reunion (and finally got to meet my cousin’s boy!). Now I need a vacation from my vacation!

My weekend was intense: beer-soaked karaoke for hours on Saturday, then Sunday saw me meeting up with an ex-flame for sushi, getting yelled at by cops, entangling ourselves with a bunch of hippies, going back to his place to find his ex had stolen his bed (!), various vices, and then sleeping on the floor where the bed used to be. Sigh.
