In the true spirit of Christmas giving…
I wanted to let you know about something special going on at White Spot on Christmas Day… Head on out to White Spot for a Christmas Day lunch, and not only do you get to eat out but your money goes directly to charity!
For more than 10 years, White Spot staff and management at the Richmond Centre and Kingsway and Knight restaurants have volunteered their time and generously donated all tips and net proceeds from the sale of food on December 25.
Each year, the restaurants give approximately $10,000 to deserving charities. In 2009, they will contribute all monies raised to the Richmond General Hospital and Variety – The Children’s Charity. So, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Christmas Day, guests can enjoy their White Spot favourites and know they are helping to brighten the lives of those in need.

Way to go White Spot! What a great way to give…

Having been to the Richmond Centre White Spot every couple of years for some Christmas Day chow, not only do I appreciate the efforts the staff do to raise money for charity, but I’m just as inspired and will typically pay double for my meal.
Least I feel I could do.

I totally hear ya, Chris! We’ll be trekking down after our Christmas morning just for this. What a great idea, and thoughtful staff to make this happen.
Perhaps we’ll run into you!
Great blog!
