I DID IT! I blogged every day for a whole month… I didn’t think I’d be able to sustain it, especially after my sporatic blog entries for the past few months! But, YAY! Thanks for the inspiration, NaBloPoMo!

A: No, I’ve no desire to live in Vegas (with or without more debt. The no snow option is appealing).
Q: What’s the single most important issue facing Calgary’s new city council?
I’ll weigh in on this one!
A: Nenshi’s lack of experience. Although, it seems he’s already got the broken promises down… Had that going for him in the first week! (ie: LRT to the SE – wow, what a quick turn around from “this is one of the 4 top issues we must address” to “I don’t think we can do it with the money in the Green Initiative” *sigh*
Q: Are you hoping for a white Christmas?
A: I just don’t want a deep-freeze Christmas … white, green or brown. A moderate temperature would be lovely.
Q: Have you decorated your house for Christmas yet?
A. I’ve learned that brown christmases can be frequent here with chinooks, so I don’t like to get my hopes up. But that being said, they are a nice surprise when it happens!
Q. Real christmas tree, or fake christmas tree?
A: Fake. Why not have my tree match my hair?
Q: Best boardgame to play with friends over holidays?

I’ll answer Angela’s and Mon’s (don’t know why the comment was held in moderation Angela, sorry!)
A: I have decorated! I did it way early because I was stressing about my exam score and needed something sparkly to distract me
I only have a tree up, though. I didn’t bring anything else from Vancouver, so we’ll go and buy more decorations on Boxing Day!
A: I love Cranium! And… the old version of Risk. But, I also have fond memories of playing Apples to Apples and Balderdash many moons ago! I miss playing board games! I hope we can find some friends here who enjoy it as much as we do.
Q: Do you have plans yet for New Years?
No plans yet for New Years since we can’t make it to see you.:(
Maybe skiing at Grouse we did it a couple of years ago and loved it.
Where is your favorite tropical place to visit?
I’ll answer Diane, just in case, so she doesn’t get orphaned, but feel free to keep playing, guys!
A: Aruba! It’s gorgeous… I only got a day there once with Vern on a cruise o-so-long-ago, but we did a tour of the island, and stopped at some amazing rock formations on the other side, and spent some time on a secluded beach, and it was heaven!
