Where has the time gone?
Life happens when you are busy making other plans!
It’s been a great but busy time for me!
I’m maintaining my weight loss at 163 for the past month and I’m only 13 pounds away from goal! Yay!
Work is keeping me busy and I’m now studying to complete my certificate in Financial Planning and PFP (exam requirements done by December). Almost there! Next up… Sr. Associate at work – should be doable after I am successful with my WME in August.
Life otherwise rocks – I just wish I had more time for friends. That will change this weekend – Toni, Sean, Barry and I are heading for the long weekend at a resort in Canmore (happy birthday cuz!) and I can’t wait!
Of course, the gals are getting away in two weeks as well – I can only imagine what trouble the boys will get up to while we are away

We’re busy amalgamating two households so part of the long weekend will be spent doing that.
Then, there are two annual art events – the Stinking Fish Studio Tour, and the Sooke Fine Arts Show. Traditionally I like to leave Victoria, drive a half-hour, view some art, and then, head to a beach for a long walk.
On the way home we stop at Mom’s Café for her famous pie (or poutine).

Long weekend? This is the first summer I have truly enjoyed the North. It’s mysteriously bug free this year and that makes all the difference! So I’ll try to get out on the water -kayak the Great Slave Lake? Canoe somewhere remote?

I am so proud you are managing to keep it off. I have not gained any but I am at a stand still and can’t seem to get anymore off.
We are off to Rock Creek for a family reunion. Maria and I just got back from our m/c trip to Yellowstone – boy was it COLD.
